love the new swatches, i am getting more and more excited for this collection! thanks to erin, the purple mes went back on my list. can't wait to see this collection in person!

oh and innocence, beware is a must for me! yay for pinky nudes and all the pink blushes

Somehow I feel really bad for not wanting anything from this collection

At first, I wanted She Who Dares MES, but I managed to kill that since I've only used my Young Punk 3 times since I got it last year. I love glitters and sparkles, but I don't have many occasions to wear it to. Hopefully it stays off of my list.

I had decided to just buy BoA blush, just because I'm on a blush kick, but to be honest, it doesn't even excite me that much. The color is not that unique. But I think I'll buy it anyway, otherwise, I will feel left out for not buying anything, esp when it's Disney!

Is there something wrong with me? I can't get myself excited for this collection, and I feel bad

dont feel bad! you should be pleased you are saving money! just because lots of people like something doesn't mean you have to like it too!

I'll buy not that much either - BOA, maybe VV and one of the lipglasses...

brash is much more intense and richer that DV. i'd say brash is closer to coppering, and DV is coppering and antique's baby. so DV is still orangy copper, but not as intense as coppering or brash.

its neither the same colour nor the same texture. these are buttery soft and have a higher (but not insane) colour payoff. AG barely shows on my nc20 skin, and you can see how well these show on me.

This is your formal invitation to come and view the VV collection before its official release

. There is no fee and the VV collection and any other MAC item will be available for you to purchase. There are drinks, hors d'oeuvres and costumed models. Sometimes, there is also some type of glossy print/press release that talks about the collection there for you to take home. So glad you RSVP'd for the event!!! It's going to be awesome for you!

I love ur comparisons for some of the stuff to JDV, one of my fav blushes!! Not sure if BOA is on my list now if it looks like JDV, but am guessing its more brown based.

Funnily, only Strange potion and maybe Heartless l/s are on my lip list.
Briar Rose has come on to my list (esp since I sold my Azalea Blossom)
The MES look delicious... and super pigmented....

not a very big list.. seems like most of our FF hauls are bigger than our VV wishlists.. though we all know it might change once we see products

Erines swatches are right on the money. Especially Strange Potion & Toxic Tale which were really hard to capture on camera.

I agree, everything swatched with very smooth texture.

2 of the lg Devilishly Stylish & Revenge Is Sweet, look like jelly/lip stains in the tube, but swatch a little bit different in color than they look in the tubes

BOA isn't just like JDV, but the closest color comparison I could think of, but definitely not brown based

Its a really pigmented/intense but not overly intense Pink Coral

I am going to get both the MES, but I wish the green was more a saturated emerald green. On the fence about BR. Will probably just get another Violetta at pro since mine is getting low, I really don't care about special packaging. I thought I wanted the polishes but they don't look that great in the swatches to me, so those are now a pass sadly. Need to check if I need backups of PTE, B&B pigments. I use those often. Also might get another backup of the slick black GPS. I use that 4-5 times a week, and have a separate one I JUST use on my waterline.

Is Darkly My Dear really close to Raizin? I started considering DMD after Erine's swatches, but if they are really close I can get Raizin later instead... And how does Benefit Dallas compare to DMD? I'm thinking they're completely different, but had to ask.

In the above pic for BOA - if you look at the left side by the point of her collar where you can see the powder thru the compact - the color looks very true to that. Pigmented corally pink

Damnit, my struggle to omit OSF from my list has failed. Suprisingly, being a blush whore, I am not tempted by the Bite of an apple blush. I wanted a more true red like an apple!
