yep, me too. Almost a red salsa rose.

OSF is a very soft feminine color for sure
th_wink3.gif
I think that it has more of a muted carnation rose pink undertone to it that I'm not sure all the other 124298376385 soft Dainty-like pinks have. Of course skin tones will make it vary.

OSF + Innocence Beware ls = soft sexy

Is it close to hipness (from to the beach collection)??

hehe hold on I have Dainty! It's up for debate again. haha

I highly doubt I will get everything I want at the launch party.
I decided to pick up stuff I for sure know I want and any other stuff when the collection releases. Ill probably need to take several showers to get all the swatches off when I get back.

Nope. Hipness is lighter. Its like if you took Hipness, Marine Life & Joie-De-Vivre mixed them together & then made it way more slight red, pinky coral pigmented. But then everyones skin tone will make it look different.

My list remains the same, only one thing got my attention that wasn't on my list: FQ-GPS! Doesn't anyone think it looks great in Erin's swatch? I think it looks, would make a great base on a blackened green smokey eye!

Thank you elegant-one and Erin for sharing the info/swatches! I'm interested in Briar Rose, BOA, French Quarter GPS and possibly some lip stuff. The e/s are doing nothing for me.

My budget is extremely limited though, so it might be I can only get one item. If so, then I think it'll be BOA. I don't have anything like it.

Does anyone actually use them as an all over powder? I would imagine it depends on the colour of the BP and your skintone, but even the pink ones I would be afraid of using all over
tong.gif
I never used one before!

I love BP's!

I'm a huge MSF fan, but sometimes they can be too shimmery/glittery for the look I'm going for, so I'll use a BP instead in the same way I'd use my MSF (I can also use more pigmented BP's alone as my blush). My favorites vary depending on the look, but I really like pinks and pinky-peach nudes and even warmer golden nudes for the Summer.

Also (and this is silly, but true!), I love BP's for their packaging! Quite often they come in special packaging and I just love that. I won't buy them for packaging alone, but having a cute compact doesn't hurt.

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

I don't understand why MAC puts out some things as BP's and some things as MSF's when they all look like blush to me. (hahaha)

I'm actually liking this collection's packaging a lot more than I expected. At least the l/s packaging is totally cute. I'd love to pull that out. Satisfies my dorky side like nothing else. :3

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

My store is being strict with the invites. I asked an employee about it and she said I had to have an invite. I told her I did and she wrote my name down and said to bring the invite with me. They're being selective. I only saw about 8 names in the book
lol.gif
. When I got my invite last week, the girl scribbled my name on a random piece of paper since they didn't have an official log yet. I wanted to make sure my name was down!

Thank you!!

It's true about the packaging! I have Shell Pearl from LoL and it just looks awesome (the compact)
lol.gif
SP is something I use more for a highlighter
smiles.gif
Oh yeah! I also have 2 more from the face palette last year: Sunsparked Pearl (similar - use as highlighter) and Pretty Baby (use as a blush). These don't have that kind of packaging though
winks.gif

I think from this collection I have decided on Oh So Fair. I'm glad to hear that it is pigmented. I had thought it wouldv'e been sheer. The Evil Queen package though, just makes it even more worthwhile

cutey.gif

nope. raizin is much more red brown, and DMD has no red at all.

OSF seems like a more baby petal pink compared to dainty/alpha girl. I think Ill be getting it unless it dissapoints me in person.

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

I swear my list keeps changing every time I look at swatches. I just kicked Briar Rose and Strange Potion off my list, but they are being replaced by Heartless and Darkly My Dear. Is this neverending?
th_rolleye0014.gif

Btw, do you think Oh So Fair will work as a blush on NC35 skintone?
