Still not sure.

Pigmentation goes two ways to me.

Major pigmentation= I will have the products forever b/c I will need less to make a impact. If it is blush then a soft dab will do me and I can actually see the product on me, not needing a microscope trying to find it which enables me to pull back from putting on more turning into a clown.

Less pigmentation= I won't see the products, making me put on more and then walking outside to find out in horror that my blush is so thick that it looks like someone has busted me in the jaws.

Out of the lipglasses I like:Revenge is Sweet, Hot House, and Strange Potion, which should I get?
I'm pale and cool-toned, but I'm just not sure which two are the most unique. And I'm wondering if anybody pale and cool-toned has tried on Strange Potion for an opinion of what it looks like? Is it unflattering for cool toned skin?

Aah! Stop telling me how pigmented Briar Rose is! I have Azalea Blossom and I'm trying to get BR out of my mind. It was recommended by someone for women of my complexion, though. Maybe this could be my one Maleficent product that I am desperate for

I have a whole drawer full of blushes (my personal stash) plus all the tester samples which I have rightful ownership of.. BOA is unique. The only other blush which comes close as refers to color/pigmentation is one made by a British co. called Pout which went out of business.. This is a matte blush but it is not hard to blend with the proper brush -- and the color is amazing

I can't say I've seen any of them in person, but I am pale and cool-toned, and I will be getting Revenge is Sweet. There seem to be a good number of dupes for Hot House, and I already have one (Electric Fuchsia). From swatches, I think Strange Potion is neutral enough that it would look nice on cool, pale skin. If it were a tad more orange, my opinion would be different, but I think it is subtle enough.

Oddly enough, mine is, too. I don't know why, but the closer it gets, the more stuff jumps on.

th_dunno.gif
-- it is blendable, difusable, mixable and disposable.. not like a tatoo or permanent hair color

I think BR would be GORGEOUS on WOC! of course just my humble opinion - but I LOVE to see these beautiful pinks (especially with the orchid color in it) on woc

I do bright lips and crazy eye looks so I have a fear of looking like Mimi from the Drew Carrey show.

This is why I am afraid of bold blushes, too. I usually have a bold eye and (more often than not) a bold lip. Therefore, blush has to be subtle.

Aww ladies, don't be afraid of bold blushes! As long as you use the correct brush (which for me changed everything about blush!), pigmented blushes look stunning on pale skin!

I'm finally going to admit...I'm a blush addict.

To me, blush is invaluable. It will pull your entire face look together, make nude lips less deathly and dark vampy lips easy to wear, define your face, add a pop of color to a neutral face, and give you a healthy and youthful appearance.

I can't wait to get BoaA and the BP's from this collection!

SO SO TRUE - the right brush will make all the difference. My personal favorite for the very intense blushes is the 131. I also love the 188 for day to day use - it's really hard to go overboard with these brushes if you use them correctly and don't let the pigment get past the white hairs. You'll have just the right amount on the brush to dab right on!

Also, don't be afraid to put a little on your temples, across your brow or over the bridge of your nose - this is a great way to balance a strong blush out across your whole face.

I use a 187, 188 or a big huge stippling brush from the old PX cooling powder.. and it works perfectly... and my fav blushes i.e., are Azalea, Exhibit A, Frankly Scarlet.. of course I still love my MAC and other blushes, but deep down my loves are my "scary" blushes
