You'll have just the right amount on the brush to dab right on!

Also, don't be afraid to put a little on your temples, across your brow or over the bridge of your nose - this is a great way to balance a strong blush out across your whole face.

that is my blush brush. i love it. its flat, and does that two tone skunk brush color diffusing thing that skunk brushes do. love it! 168 is a great blush brush too.

ahhh hergreyness stop torturing me! haha. Just the color itself reminds me so much of Joyous.

There prolly is a color differance but I keep telling myself they will be similar enough on the cheeks. Your swatch of it looks different than everyone elses and if the blush in real life looked more like your swatch (more red), I would get it in a heartbeat!

Kiss darlin, my swatch was not just a pic -- but an in your fingers and on your arms type of swatch which some cannot do unless they actually have the product (not mentioning names here
th_DANCE.gif
).. Erin's swatch is also a stick your finger in it .... do get this blush, you will love it

I forgot about Joyous. Its close to Joyous, but I think more red/pink & more pigmented - like Joyous on steroids
yes.gif
But I am doing this from memory for BOA

It's almost my HG blush, well the purple side IS my HG and I use the pink side or mix the two for daytime. Obviously BOA is right out, but do I need BR?

So on the fence about this.

Awww!

I used my AB today after not using it for awhile. I forgot how nice it was!

All this talk of blush...I am afraid its out of my league I don't own 1

I wouldn't even know which one to get or the proper way to apply it without looking holloweenish.

The nail polishes just aren't doing it for me. Maybe they'd look better over a black base? They just kind of look muddy & blah on their own to me. Gorgeous in the bottle though. Oh well.

I decided on Oh So Fair BP just recently and I just checked it out again in the swatches thread - I can't wait to get it!
greengrin.gif
I haven't been this excited over a product in months!
tong.gif
hehe.
Thank you HerGreyness, Erin and Elegant for your swatches and reviews!

And I think I will get Strange Potion l/g as well, and nothing else. I knocked my list down to two items. When I had knocked it down to 4 - I noticed everything is from the Evil Queen collection, lol.

Ah hun really. Maybe you could go to a local makeup counter & ask them to show you. Or, I could bring my stash & fly to CT

Thank you for the recommendation! While I love the look of Hot House, and don't personally have a dupe I think I might just skip it. Afterall, I might as well have two different lipglasses in different packaging!

I think my final list is:
Heartless (I hope this is the perfect pin-up red of my dreams)
Strange Potion
Revenge is Sweet
Vile Violet
My Dark Magic (The packaging and the look of the eyeshadow is just too ridiculously stunning to skip!)

I even got all the different packaging in there, except for Dr. Facilier, and two for Maleficent which I like best!

To me, blush is invaluable. It will pull your entire face look together, make nude lips less deathly and dark vampy lips easy to wear, define your face, add a pop of color to a neutral face, and give you a healthy and youthful appearance.

I can't wait to get BoaA and the BP's from this collection!
love.gif

You're right- it does pull a look together. I am just scared of really bold colors....

Are you getting all of the BPs, or which ones? I am right on the brink of getting all three, and I believe we are similar skin tones.

I didn't until Azalea Blossom earlier this year, but I'm still not

addicted to blush. I love it, and think it's invaluable, but I only have a few. You have to pick a color that's right. And once you find it, it completes your look.
yes.gif
You won't look Halloweenish.
tong.gif
As HerGreyness said earlier and something I should remember more often, it can be wiped off and played with. it's not permanent.

Don't mention a black base!!!! Now I'm going to have to do my best to ignore these.

I have to put all polishes on a black base though, to be honest. I want deep saturated colours. Nothing else works for me.

I love doing that, too! Now I keep seeing Mean & Green over a black base

I do think blush is pretty and have always wanted to try it just never have. I find I don't have a problem remembering it can be wiped off concept for playing with eyeshadow colors and stuff but haven't applyed the same thinking to blush or lips. I guess I will get there eventually.

Ok, so Briar Rose is nothing like AB or anything that has ever been in the must-have blushes category?

I would like Elegant's top 5 do-not-leave-the-counter-without-grabbing-this list. I have to be a little tighter with my budget now.
