No its Devilishly Stylish - a deep Fuchsia. It may have a little red in it that makes it 'deep' but its not red. Its a dark fuchsia pink. Someone got the names mixed up. Go to our 'color story' for VV & read the descriptions by the product names that will help clear up the confusion.

And, the red ls from Cruella D. is Heartless

Wicked Ways is the nude - which in real life is more like a light nude golden peach. Its the lightest gloss shade in the swatches.

Christine from Temptalia got her samples from the official MAC event so MAC got the names mixed up?

On her site Devilishly style lipglass is like a nude pinky champagne color again

MAC Venomous Villains: Cruella de Vil Review, Photos, Swatches

Here is the link to the direct swatches for the Cruella de Vil portion of the collection on Temptalia's site. You can clearly see that Wicked Ways is the name of the red/fuschia lipglass for this part of the collection. Unless MAC screwed up the samples, that is the name.

Hmm, that is weird. In our swatch thread - Zoffe has them listed the way I saw them. A MA read the names to me from the bottom of the tubes. And, if you read the description's on Erines paper in our swatch thread - you can see that the color names are switched with the descriptions

I'm sure Erine can clear things up

Well, I just looked at a close up of the bottom of the lg tube - & sure enough, the bottom of the light nude peachy one does indeed say Devilishly Stylish. I cannot read the bottom of the other fuchsia tube. Still doesn't explain the sheet description

All I know is I will buy "Deep fuchsia with pink pearl" lipglass.

Yes, I agree, "Devilishly Stylish" sounds better.

To those of you who have seen the light nude peachy lip glass (what ever the name may be) what did you think of the color? I always want to buy a nude lip gloss and then I pass on it because I'm afraid it'll look like a mess. I keep putting Hot House on my list and taking it off. Do you ladies think I'll regret not getting it or is it a color I could find at another time?

I wasn't sure if I was going to get anything form this collection but I think when I go to the preview party I am gonna pick up strange potion lipglass it will be my first and maybe vile violet e/s depending on how it swatches.

normally pink is considered cool. however, with mac's foundations, pink is warm. if you're pink, you're really cool, but with mac, you're warm.

as far as cool-toned vs warm-toned colours looking good on the same/opposite-toned people, i say its crap! wear whatever you like and whatever you want. just because a cool-tone purple doesn't look good on you, doesn't mean all cool-toned colours will look bad on you, and vice versa.

oh i wasn't meaning anything against you. i just thought it was kinda weird for a mac employee to say that a cool blush layered under a cool powder would make it less cool, when in fact, it'd still be cool.

ok. our update book has the names and descriptions mixed up. at update we don't have much time to swatch, so i just match the name on the product with the name in the book, and pay no attention to the description. this was the case for the this gloss.

when i swatch on my hand, i do it in alphabetical order, so i know what's what. whatever it is in my hand swatch is what it is. sorry for the confusion.

and its not a cherry red, but it is red, not fuschia.

I got back from my month long vacation last night and I saw an envelope from MAC on the table. I was like "wth is this?" I was expecting some kind of thank you gift card

but it was an invitation to VV preview party!

I don't think I'm gonna go though

I only want the BoA blush, and I don't know if it's worth going just for that, plus i don't like crowds. I think I can wait, but I'm curious at the same time. I've never been to a MAC party, but I don't have a friend who's into makeup like me

What do you guys do with the invitation? I don't want to throw it out but i don't know what to do with it
