I couldn't wait and decided to get Violetta l/s. But somehow I'm kinda disappointed. I expected it to be PURPLE!!! But it's a pinky purple

BoaA looks, gorgeous tho. I'll have to swatch it in person.

You're right; Violetta *is* a pinky purple, but that's what makes it so easily wearable.
You might like Go For It better; it's more blue.
A purple liner might help you make peace with Violetta, too.

It does have some pink in it. What I love about it is the metallic look of it. It's like this awesome sheen to it that hits the light and looks fabulous. A shade that is similar, but more purple is a new lipstick by mufe #15. It's the reason why I won't be buying another Violetta.

i prefer that violetta is a pinky purple. i don't think i could wear a straight up purple lippie to be honest

BOA is not really doing anything for me in those swatches. In fact, Salsa Rose is what I wanted BOA to be. I find Joyous allready very heavily pigmented and don't really want another darker coral blush even though I am sure it will look lovely on.

Thanks for the swatches Erin! I think I like the color of Fleur Power more that BoA which is good since I don't have to pay for packaging

I'm really on the fence with pick items now. Hm...
I might not even want bad fairy anymore!

Please help me narrow down my list a bit more. I took Bad Fairy off in lieu of the OPI dupe. I have the Orly dupes for the other two polishes.

If I have Young Punk and Deep Purple pigment, do I still need/want My Dark Magic MES?

possibly not to be honest. plus bear in mind that these mes will be more pricey than normal ones so maybe weigh up if you feel it is worth the money.

I love that BoaA is a lighter version of Salsarose because I am not sure with my pink undertones, I would like Salsarose. Looking forward to swatching BoaA when this collection hits!

I also have Magnetique, but would consider HH my backup

HH can have a permanent place in my purse

Young Punk is much more pretty than MDM in my opinion, so I'd say you're good with that. Plus Deep Purple pigment is so gorgeous that MDM could never compete with it!

Go For It is AWESOME!!!! I think it fulfills my need of purple lipstick quite well. Violetta does look pretty pink.

What good is the makeup if I don't have a car to go anywhere? Or even a car to go buy it?

I think a vacation or a car is much more worthwhile than an array of different shades that are practically the same

I better start cutting back fast because my old Ford is gonna die for good soon, I'm afraid.

Fleur Power is my favorite Mac blush. If I had to have a blush permanently tattooed to my face, that would be it.

Me too! I usually stick to more peachy-pink colors, but I'm really loving Bite of an Apple! I prefer matte blush, so I'm looking forward to this one. Still debating on Darkly My Dear though...

Fleur Power is so pretty, one of my absolute favorites too! I bet it looks gorgeous on you. Knowing how much I like FP I know I will like BoaA too, it looks just like FP, just bolder and more intense.

Yeah, I've decided to stop fighting and just get BoaA. It was the first thing that got me excited about this collection anyway. I can't wait. I just keep looking at the calender waiting for the 21st when I can finally get these items in my hands.
