If you did get one, FQ looks like it wouldn't be a bad place to start

^^^ I'll be breaking out my Black GPS from style black when I start to create looks with my new MES. I almost forgot it had those beautiful purple flecks of sparkle in it! I can't wait!

oh goodness. it looks like the host of the popsugar video is wearing toxic tale and BOA. at least i hope she is because her makeup is GORGEOUS and i want it want it want it. i might be a little more fair than she is, but it looks like we're close enough that i can go ahead and get excited about how those two products will look on me. if they weren't limited edition, i would wear that combination every day. lovelovelove.

That's my favorite gps even though I love the ones from Dsquared. The purple really shows up. I only used to wear it as a really thin or thick liner as opposed to a shadow or a base, but it definitely stood out. You don't even have to do much else to your face and still look fab. Definitely noticeable behind my glasses.

To those of you who have the grease paint sticks, what do you love about them? I have never bought one.

They last all day, they can be used as liner or a base or a shadow all on it's own. It can work on the waterline also. The texture is amazing. Not dry at all.

I'm loving how everyone has Disney Villains for their Avatars! So cute! Now to go off and find one of Ursula! I mean how hot was she?! I still think she should have been part of this collection! Then it would have been perfect! All that being said, Maleficent's Collection is definitely my fave!
My Final List:
Heartless Lipstick
De-Vil Eyeshadow
Hot House Lipglass
Vainglorioius Eyeshadow
Bite of An Apple Blush
She Who Dares Eyeshadow
Wrong Spell Lipglass
Dark Deed Lipstick
Formidable! Nail Lacquer
Mean and Green Nail Lacquer
Bad Fairy Nail Lacquer
Resort Life Lipgelee

I also love how they give some colours more depth. For example Greengrease with greens, Dirty with taupes/browns, The purple/violet "V" one with purples, Slick Black with, well, anything, etc...

I was just typing that! I also love that they come with their own sharpener that you can pull out on the bottom. So convenient!

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

I just finished playing around with some of my lipsticks to see what looked the best with Bite of Apple. I tried it on at the MAC store today. I am NW15 and look like Snow White. It is a great blush for a classic pin-up look! On me, Bite of Apple seemed to go best with bright, blue-based cherry reds or pinky-corals. It looked great with Lustering, Red Full Stop, VG Cyndi, Venetian, Revlon Cherries in the Snow, Rimmel Berry Queen and Rimmel Rose Passion. It did not look as good with Casanova, VGVI, Queen's Sin, Port Red or Revlon Raspberry Colorburst. It also looks really cute with coral pinks like Overrich, Fast Thrill, Cockatease, Victorian, Fresh Salmon and Utterly Frivolous! When paired with these shades, Bite of Apple looks like a brighter version of Hipness. So far, I like it best with Fast Thrill, Victorian, Lustering and Red Full Stop. It is very versatile, and can be used year-round!

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

Found some heartless swatches:

.:As Pink As My Juicy:.: MAC Venomous Villains

Weird she describes it as an orange based red and not a blue based red as some others have said. It does look red-red but to me it looks more like an orange undertone rather than Port Red which has a blue undertone I believe. I am happy either way!

Re: MAC - Venomous Villains discussion

^^It's so weird that RIS looks so pigmented on her but so weak in every swatch I've seen. Plus Strange Potion is pretty much non-existent on her. Goes to show that colors show up differently on people and people also swatch things different. Sometimes they use a lighter hand or the method they used to remove a previous lip product sort of takes away from the next one.

Agree with all of this! I also find that the colors are really intense and true. Smolder turns blue on me, but GPS always go on the way they look.

Evil Queen
Oh So Fair b/p
Vainglorious e/s

Dr. Facilier
Slick Black GPS
French Quarter GPS
Truth and Light MCLP
Resort Life l/g

Maleficent
Mean and Green n/l
Formidable! n/l
My Dark Magic MES

I think I'll also be getting Innocence Beware and Slick Black for my mom, and Bad Fairy for my grandmother.
thmbup.gif

Ultimately, I got rid of Her Own Devices b/c I think it'll be too dark for me, and I'll get Truth and Light instead. I'm intrigued.
sneaky.gif

I'm passing on Bite of an Apple b/c in my gut, I don't feel like it'll work. I'll pick up My Highland Honey with TT and that can be my out-of-comfort-zone blush.
winkiss.gif

I'm going to call and reserve most of the stuff tomorrow. A few things will wait until I get reports from people who attend preview parties. I'm counting on you guys!
