Yeah, but that sucks, because you're paying more for the eyeshadow because of its special packaging...

Hadn't really thought of that.

Well, might as well... all of my eyeshadows end up depotted anyway.
Just need to have enough to fill up a pallete, so it's going to be in it's pretty shiny packaging for a while.

I just have a small list (bite of apple blush, lipglosses in Devilishy Stylish & Strange Potion) but i can't wait to see more swatches!!!

I got to see some of the products. The counter was a zoo for some reason and my MA said that some of the products were still in the back. I didn't have time to wait for him to go get them, so I just looked at what they had out.
I saw all of the nail polishes. I ended up preordered Bad Fairy and Formidable. I'm crazy about Formidable, it kinda reminds me of Burmese Beauty e/s in nail polish form. . I was dying to see them, but I decided to order them anyway. I love my Style Black MES, so I think I'll love these!
I saw De-vil, Sweet Joy and Vainglorious. De-vil and Vainglorious are sooooo pretty. Just exactly my kind of colors. Nicely pigmented too! Sweet Joy is very pretty, but it reminds me of some other highlight e/s I have, so I passed.
Toxic Tale is so gorgeous, I couldn't pass it up!! IDK how great it will look on me, but I will stare at it in the tube if necessary. Innocence Beware is the nude-y pink I've been wanting lately, very nice! The darker lippies were also beautiful, but I don't ever wear them. I'll have to envy you ladies who can pull them off!

Overall, I just seriously can't wait until the 30th. My MA asked for my phone number to put on my bag of stuff, and then he says "I know you'll be here the minute we open on the 30th though" LOL. He is so right.

I need help!!!

I know for sure I'm getting the 2 MES duos. But, I had some questions about a few other items:

What's so awesome about Bite of Apple? (Is it in the same family of Marine Life -my hg coral blusher- ?)

Are any of the lipsticks must haves? ( already have violetta)

Do I NEED Bad Fairy np in my life? Will I never come across one similar? lol

Also, anyone can rec a beauty blogger that does lip swatches that's above NC40? I'm an online purchaser, and lip products are always tricky to buy. Toxic Tale looks interesting, but I don't want to be looking crazy! lol

Bad Fairy is very pretty, but it isn't all that unique, in my opinion. At the same time, I can't think of any dupes right off the top of my head. I ended up preordering it just so I wouldn't be sad that I missed it.

Stopped in at my pro store this weekend to ask about the collection. She says that she's been getting a lot of people contacting them in the last couple of weeks and that there's a lot of excitement. Great, now I feel stressed about "only" going after work on Thursday. It crossed my mind to ask if I could just sneak in on Wednesday evening and get a few things before the hordes descend.

Looking forward to feedback from the events tomorrow, although I think a lot of this is going to come down to swatching for me. Meaning I have to see it on my own skin to determine how the colours will work with my tone. Can't wait for Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BoA is the darker version of the dark side of Marine Life. There is a comparision swatch on the boards for you to see.

As for lippies, Heartless, is a blue red and is pretty on darker skin. I would get it, but I am holding out for one of the new MUFE rouges. Sinster is a very sheer brown and on my pigmented lips, i only see the lavender and pinkish sparkle in it. Toxic Tale is bright, Inocence Beware is not for the browner girls at all, and Dark Deed is in the same vein as Media, and FF's Kittenish.

Over NC40 Nope, I was hoping afrobella or erinscandalous would have received press kits so we could see, but i haven't seen anything, so maybe not. MAC could have sent me the stuff or picked a random brown beauty blogger. ANYONE so we could have had something swatched on darker skin. i asked christine from temptalia once if she could swatch this collection on darker skin, and she said she didn't know anyone to swatch on. it would be cool if her or the other bloggers that got press kits could do that.

Oh Well, some people are going to events tomorrow, maybe someone in that color range will have some lips to show off for us on Wed. Hoping so!

I tried on Bite of an Apple yesterday (I'm an NC15/20) and what I really liked about it is that if gave me a very classical flush. Like a maiden who'd been out in the cold (which doesn't happen much to me anymore living in Los Angeles!). And besides, if you don't like it, you can always swap/sell it to someone here.

Now I feel like I need to go back and try on Briar Rose and Oh So Fair again...you know, just in case.

So, after that and what some other said that BoA works fine on fair skin I have it on my list.
The MCP is off, it's full of silicones and I do not do silicones.
And I am trying to keep Heartless off my list with a stick.
