Does anyone know how Dark Deed compares to Media, Cyber, Cunning and Darkside - I was swatching at MAC last weekend and loved all of these
Now I have a craving for a really deep purple/burgundy lip colour and, while I'd love to get all of them, I need to be selective (for now), so it would make sense to get Dark Deed if it has anything unique or special about it, as the others are perms.
Does anyone know how Dark Deed compares to Media, Cyber, Cunning and Darkside - I was swatching at MAC last weekend and loved all of these

From what I've seen Dark Deed is much more red and as an amplified has a more opaque finish, Cunning (which I love) is a lustre & applies like lip balm to me. It takes time & lip liner to make it opaque and doesn't have any red in it, it's a darker purple

Most people have said that it's pretty similar to Media, although in an Amplified Creme rather than a Satin finish... I'd also heard that DD fell somewhere between Cunning and Kittenish in shade. Personally, I'd make the decision (assuming I would make a decision, which I wouldn't, because I'm getting DD even though I own the other three you mention, but that's me and I'm obsessed) based on which finish you like the best:

damn time difference i want reviews, pics and swatches before i got to bed!! i hate that i'll have to wait until tomorrow!
quick question: when using mes wet, do you guys pick up the product with a brush and then spray on some fix+ (or whatever) or do you spray the brush and then dip it into the mes?

well if anyone is in Atlanta and wants to go to tonight's event at the freestanding in Perimeter, i just cancelled my appointment. i'll just deal with the madness when it's launched and miss whatever i miss that sells out.
sooo turned off now, trashing my list for this collection.

Sooooooooooooo I had planned to skip this collection entirely. I really had.
But, I went my my local counter to pick up a SF refill, and the MA at the counter was super sweet and totally excited about VV. She had the display behind the counter and wanted to me to scope it out (since they are preselling). I ended up pre-ordering Briar Rose (honestly, just gotta have the Maleficent compact) and Bite of an Apple (OMG - this is GORGEOUS! And I got the last one they had). The MES are stunning, but I was good and kept my order to those 2 items.
I have a feeling most of this will be spoken for before the 30th. The lipglasses were really tempting too.

It was so weird putting Truth and Light on my face! I think I went "Oh!" out loud cause it does feel wet! Though I wanted to mention that I noticed a small amount of odd flaking in a spot where I layered it over Briar Rose. What's even stranger....my skin feels extra smooth where I applied the MCP.

I broke my fucking camera! Excuse my language people, but that's how pissed I am at myself. The screen is completely black. It went flying out of my locker at work. I was not cautious enough. Anyway I am sitting outside the mac store. I see the displays and I am ready to pounce. I also see the costumes and a lot of employees. People are coming by oooh and aaahing all the way. I have to use my damn phone now for pics. Sorry guys. I'll do my best. I'm think I'm about to cry.
