I'll just say this...even my husband uses them with no problems.

I got him a bunch of the slicked black ones to use to "face paint" for all of our crazy fans sporting events. He even does mine and it always looks awesome.

I use mine for actual eye make-up too of course, and I LOVE them. You really can't go wrong with GPS no matter how you use them. Try one!

In that case, you might want to grab SWD only- there is no dupe for the green side.

You could also argue that, if you got both, it would effectively give you back-ups for both Young Punk and Blue Flame...

I love a trip list. What to do, what am I wearing, what makeup am I taking?

DH gets mad at me for putting my makeup in the room safe at the hotel.
(I have this scenario in my head: My makeup gets stolen, I report it, only to have the staff look at me like a crazy person complaining about makeup and I don't have receipts for stuff I brought from home)

So yes, honey(hubby), it goes into the safe.

Back to topic: Please check you guys Vainglorious. I am interested if BR will be chalky on brown skin. I love the color and that's it's beauty powder.

I stopped by the counter yesterday to look at the collection. My counter is not doing a preview party. That could have something to do with the fact that they are on counter Manager #3 in two years. Given that the counter is only two years old, I think a preview party would have been great. I still run into people that love MAC but had no clue we have a counter in town. Madness!

Anyway, I am still very giddy about this collection! Love it!! Sadly, I kinda wish the collection was bigger. It would have been nice to have quads, a blush for every villain, and more lipsticks and lipglasses. Guess I'm not easily pleased.

Cruella:

Love Heartless and Wicked Ways! Heartless is a straight up cherry red and so pretty. I understand now why some have called it a neutral red. Wicked Ways has looked pink/fuchsia to me everytime I have seen a swatch. Yesterday at the counter was no different. It reminds me of New York Apple, descripted as a red but pink on me. Still pretty and will look good with Heartless. Darkly My Dear was so pretty in the pan but I didn't get a good swatch of it. For whatever reason, they didn't have any sponges at the counter. De-vil is also a pretty eyeshadow. Not sure if I will buy it but if you are into coppery colors, get it!

Evil Queen:

Toxic Tale was nothing like I thought it would be. It's a pink coral on my skin. Pretty but I was expecting bright and something close to Powerhouse. I don't think it will look good on me so it's a pass. I didn't even try Sinister. I have no interest in a brown lipstick or a lustre. I didn't try Hot House because I already have and love it! Her Alter Image, Vainglorious, and Vile Violet are all very pretty and I can't wait to get them! I really loved Her Alter Image. I have been waiting for this one since the first swatch I saw and it did not disappoint. Once again, I did not get a very good swatch of Bite of an Apple but, it was very pretty in the pan. I wear my blush kinda heavy so, it should be just fine for my skintone.

Maleficent:

Dark Deed is great! I like it better than I liked Cunning or Kittenish. I didn't compare them side by side but, to me, Dark Deed seems to fall between the two. Maybe I like it better than C and K because DD is an Amplified Creme which is my favorite lipstick finish from MAC. I can't wait to get DD and layer Wrong Spell over it. Wrong Spell is dark but I really like it. Revenge is Sweet was nothing special as a hand swatch but I think it will look really good over Violetta so for me, it's a must have! I may just get a backup. I didn't even look at the nailpolish. I just can't bring myself to pay $13 for nailpolish when I can get my OPI, which I love, for $8.50.

Dr Facilier:

I only want two things from his part of the collection: the mirrow and French Quarter. Don't you know I forget to swatch French Quarter. So sad.

I tried two of the three Beauty Powders. While I was trying them on, I said something to the SA about them lacking color. I was a little shocked at what she said. Her reply was that she did not like beauty powders because she didn't know what to do with them. I was like WTF! Now, don't get me wrong, I don't expect the MA to know everything but, she has been working at this couter for at least a year. As far as I can remember, this is at least the second time MAC has put BPs in a collection this year. Why not ask your trainer if you are not sure. Anyway, I tried to explain the use of the product to her but, I don't think I changed her mnd at all.

I was very excited about Briar Rose BP but very disappointed when I tried it on. It kinda looked ashy but, I noticed the longer it set on my skin, the better it looked. Soft and pretty. I also tried what I thought was Oh So Fair but, once I left the counter I was no longer sure. It had a little more color than I thought it would but, I don't really need another highlight so it's a pass. I got strange looks from both the MA and the guy in menswear when I left the store with makeup all over my hand. I wanted to see the swatches in the sunlight.

I love this collection and can't wait for next week!

I'm *trying* to cut down my list... Whats HOD like? I'm NC15 and really want a neutral blush thats not a pink or a bronzer.. if that makes any sense(?), just a light colour difference.. Would HOD do this??

Well, my guest can't make it tonight. Bummer. Anyone in new jersey who can make it to short hills mall by 7pm? Anyway, I'm wearing maui wowie by urban decay, satin taupe (even though I hate it) and ricepaper on my eyes. I've sunsational and gold rebel on my lips. It's been so long since I've worn either of those (love em). I am so ready for tonight though I am tired because excitement wouldn't let me sleep. Let me just say holy glittery fallout batman on the maui wowie. Gorgeous color but wtf. I cleaned my face before foundation and glitter is on my face anyway. No bueno.

I can't wait for swatches and reviews! If someone could check out Wrong Spell and give me a mini-review, that would be awesome! I'm on the fence, but I do really like it. But would it look weird on NW15?
