But

I have a question... I ordered SWD MES (not even half an hour after collection was released online, if that helps) and received the order confirmation not long after I did. However, I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation and was wondering if that's a good thing since I haven't gotten a backorder email... I hope that makes sense.

When I did my overnight shipping, I never got a shipping confirmation, but it still arrived. I also did 2nd day shipping on another order, and although I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation, the CS lady told me it should be here on time. Just call CS with your order number. They can tell you if it has processed, and if everything you ordered is on it's way to you.

Why do they do that? It's like they're teasing us in the worst way.

I played again this morning on the site.

The last couple of days I've been on a Disney high and have watched several of the movies with my daughter. It's a great combination: feeling like a kid and makeup.

... it's making a mockery of my budget....

I'm not sure about the dupe aspect, but I believe Plink is discontinued. I looked for it on the site and it didn't come up. It's a shame because it was so pretty. :/

So my UPS tracking suddenly reverted from saying yesterday was the delivery date to giving me no delivery date at all, and the package progress stopped on 9/25 in NJ. I called UPS and they told me to call the shipper and have them put a trace on it.

I called MAC Pro in NYC and the guy was about to get his shorts in a knot because I asked him to call them and put a trace on it. He's all, "UPS takes 7 days MINIMUM (big attitude when he spit out minimum)". I'm aware of how UPS works, thanks, but when this happens, it usually means it's stuck somewhere.

Besides, the girl who took my order said I should get it within a few days because I'm in the same state eight hours away!

Let's hope I hear something today, or I'll have to go to the counter tomorrow and buy everything again to make sure I wind up with the products I wanted.

If I get doubles, I'll just sell them at cost on ebay or maybe here if anyone is interested.

Well MAC is getting me angry. I placed my order at 7 pm Monday night and got the thank you for ordering email a bit later.

So I get an email this morning from MAC stating that I won't get BOA, Bad Fairy, and OSF. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called this morning to say I wish I had known that yesterday. MAYBE I could have found it somewhere else then! Here I've been sitting thinking I was getting all of my stuff.

During my call I was told that I AM going to get OSF but not the other two.

I told them I am so disappointed that they do not have enough product for the demand and that they have many loyal customers who they are disappointing very much. It's just not nice, is too much drama, and bad business. We've got nothing better to do than stalk a website and wind up being let down anyway? It that a way to treat customers?

I don't know girls....I may be done with MAC. Who wants to go thru this again for TT or WW?????

I sure don't, that's for certain. Like I said during the SR craze, I went through this lunacy with Beanie Babies in the 90s and said to myself that never again would I put myself through that for anything. It was like a full-on addiction - calling every single location I could think of to see if they had Nanuk the Husky and then driving like a maniac to get there before he sold out.

I am not in on TT or anything else this year. If the promo pics of WW prove to be just "meh", I'll save myself the trouble and not even read Temptalia or look at swatches.

I haven't seen otherwise, no email of doom, so I am hoping for the best. I've not had the best of luck with past releases, so I have reason to be cynical.

So today I'm wearing beautiful iris with vile violet and I got the style black gps (the one with purple flecks) on the waterline and I'm loving it. I forgot how much I love BI. Vile Violet isn't chalky at all when you're working with it and pigmentation is fine. It's a well behaved matte. I'm also wearing strip down liner with resort life on the center of the lips. I'm working it today. I wish I had my damn camera!

Plink is discontinued, but because it wasn't discontinued that long ago, a lot of stores may still have stock (all the ones around me did, as of earlier this month). The two lipsticks are similar. I find that IB is more of a true neutral, whereas Plink is a little more yellow/ peach pink and a bit brighter on the lips.

For me, Plink works better, but that's going to be a highly individual thing. My opinion, though, is that unless you wear these sorts of colours almost every day, you wouldn't need both.

A nice little birdie here on our site said to check Macy's this morning. As I was doing that, my Mamma called and told me she got all of my missing products - they are shipping from her store in Sarasota, FL. YEA! YEA for our Moms!

Sorry I had to rant but I still feel the same. If they would just tell you SOONER that they were sold out, it would be helpful!
