I just don't get it.

I went out to pick up something for work and somehow I ended up at Macys!

Anyway, what I don't get is - there was NOBODY there at the MAC counter. The MA said they had way more people for To The Beach. AND - not one thing was sold out!!!! I was telling her about my on line experience and that I still have not gotten my box!

But I did check out the stuff and wound up getting Truth & Light. I did not want to buy that until I saw it in person. I LOVE IT! It's way nicer than I thought it would be.

I came, I swatched, I hauled.

My order was all there and ready at my counter. So $168 later, I am now the proud owner of Formidable, BoA, Oh So Fair, Briar Rose, Truth & Light, Devilishly Stylish, and My Dark Magic.

As I walked out of Nordies, I was all excited to get back to the office to try my first blush/powder when I realized that I don't exactly have a brush to do it with! I have a totally inappropriately-shaped big powder brush in my desk...I suppose it'll make do.

I tried on Heartless since I wanted to at least give it a shot before completely passing it up. I put it on over Cherry liner, and it was all right. It's a nice, universal red anyone can wear, but it's not what I'm looking for. That's okay. The tube I didn't buy will make someone else very happy.

Holy cow do I love me some My Dark Magic! So so sooooo pretty. I'm looking forward to having an occasion to wear it. When I go back to get my makeup done on the 10th, I'll probably pick up She Who Dares e/s if they have any left.

I work at Macy's and I worked today, so I spent my whole shift looking at the time thinking, "I wonder if Venomous Villains is selling out?!?!?!?" It wasn't though, and after so much time thinking about it, I got my stuff!

Bite of an Apple blush - I thought I couldn't pull this off, but I tried it in the store and I LOVE it! (NW15) (Needs a light hand though.)

Her Alter Image shadow - Haven't tried it yet, but it looks gorgeous.

Devilishly Stylish lipglass - I know it might not be terribly unique, but I personally didn't have anything like it, and it's really pretty.

Bad Fairy lacquer - I don't even know that this will look that great against my skin, but one look and I knew I couldn't leave without it. It's fabulous.

Mean and Green lacquer - I keep staring at it because it's soooooooooooo cool and pretty. I cannot WAIT to put this on. (But I have to because I don't have time right now.

)

And that's it! Actually a pretty big haul for me. I looked at other items and thought, "Do I have something like this, or that suits the same mood that this suits?" and if I did then I didn't get it. I didn't get Vile Violet because I wasn't overjoyed by the swatch. I didn't think I'd wear Hot House much. Revenge is Sweet looked pretty... but I just wasn't that drawn to it. I only got the stuff I was totally drawn to, like an "omg have to have it" love at first sight kind of reaction.

And I am so totally in love with what I got. Yay!!!

Nothing was sold out when I got there, but they were busy and I bet some stuff will be missing by tomorrow.

LMAO, this is too ridiculous. So, the story goes like this:

I went to the counter today and my favorite MA was there (this guy has the most perfect brows I've ever seen!) and even at 10:10 am, there were a couple of people already there, and his phone was ringing off the hook. Ever the professional, he got all of my items, while processing a return for me, taking my Back 2 MACs and answering the phone, and I was on my merry way with the goods (yay, BOA!).

I came home and checked my UPS status on the lost package from MAC Pro containing all the same stuff I bought again today, not expecting anything since there were no updates yesterday, but there was one today. It went from Secaucus, NJ to Sylmar, CA! And it has an arrival date of 10/7.

So it figures. If I hadn't went to the counter today, the package would still be lost of course. I'll have doubles of everything, so I'll sell them here at cost if you guys are interested.

It really did crack me up. Sylmar, CA? The package only had to go 400 miles from NYC!

Lousy Maleficent screwing things up on me again...

So down. My counter's delivery was delayed and they wont have the products on counter tomorrow. Maybe next week but I had my hopes up.

But what can you do? Tomorrow is going to be just another normal day. No MAC high for me.

I called MAC 2 seperate times (I love to double check things) to see where my package is...I haven't gotten a shipping email yet...It's on it way to me! I can rest easier now. I don't have to go mad looking for the things I bought wondering if I will get them all.

Where's my cup of chamomille tea?

What do we think of the Magically Cool Liquid Powders? I tried it in the store as a highlight and decided to not rush into a purchase. I guess I like it... but I don't know if I want to spend the money on it.

I never get the shipping notifications until after I already have my box. Crazy sauce. That's what MAC is sipping on. Crazy sauce.

Went to MAC and got all of my goodies!!

I got all of the Maleficent stuff as well as BoaA, and The Snow White BP. I couldn't resist when I saw them.

I'm so bad. But now I have to go cook some steak for the man and I for dinner <3<3<3<3

I think I'm done for a little while...until Tartan Tale comes calling. Ahh...it's over!
