If you had to choose between Oh So Fair bp or Briar Rose bp, which would you pick and why? Just curious since I'm thinking about getting one. I have very fair skin and both seem nice. Thanks in advance!

I ordered Monday night with standard shipping and never got a shipping confirmation. The order still shows as pending, but when I called this evening, I was told that it shipped yesterday. So I apparently got everything that I ordered. Should arrive on October 6.

I didn't really want much from this collection. For most of the things that I liked, I already have something similar from Style Black; there are finite limits on the amount of black lipstick and and dark glittery eyeshadow that one person can use

My supervisor let me leave work for a bit to pick up my pre-order. Sure enough, the MAC associate at Nordstrom had my stuff packed and ready like she told me that she would.

I got:
Briar Rose
She Who dares
Bad Fairy
Mean & Green
French Quarter
Wrong Spell

Ouch! I'm done for a while. I haven't played with the goods yet. I'm still tired from work.

Even though I went at opening time, I have a feeling that things won't sell out that quickly in my area. We've had some really bad storms and flood watches, so I think people aren't really going anywhere until the storms clear this weekend.

I will go swatch them right now, be right back

EDIT:

The are pretty close in color. IB is a little more warmer pink tone with better coverage. Hue is paler more shiny & sheerer.

Aww, you are the sweetest! Thank you so much for swatching them for me. I think I definately want to get OSF, but don't care for the packaging, so I am going to wait and get it with the holiday set as I have been wanting Dame and Plum Foolery anyway

I will definately try out IB when I hit up my counter again. Thank you again.

My manager, who casually wears make up, but knows I'm an addict asked me about this collection today. She said she dropped by a Mac store to buy something, saw the display and geeked out. The mua wouldn't hold anything, though. She has an appointment tomorrow evening for a makeover. I hope they still have whatever she may want! I think it's great some of you live in a place where they hold stuff b/c that has not been my experience around here!

I plan on hitting a counter tomorrow to buy some perm stuff, the Burmese Beauty quad (if they still have it) and maybe a couple more things from this collection on my way to see The Social Network.

My store is sold out of all 3 nailpolishes, BOA blush and Toxic tale l/s. I am actually very relieved that I won't spend anymore money on this collection!! lol

on topic...... My order still says pending, but the same thing happened with my FF stuff. I got no notification then it suddenly showed up on my doorstep! It sucks but I'm just going to have to be patient.

They are very similar. Hue is a tad bit peachier. I think IB has a better texture and is easier to work with. IB looked the closest to 3N!

I think Briar Rose is better. While Oh So Fair is pretty I think it is a really easy dupable color. I could be wrong. I'm super white with blue red undertones and find Briar Rose very flattering with my fair skin.

Did my last of my haulage today, does anyone else have that feeling like you ate WAY too much at Thanksgiving but in relation to makeup?? Cause I do! I too caved into the BOA hype thanks to you lovely ladies and I really like it. But man I think I am going to go on a wee "diet" in the makeup department for a little bit.

I dreamed that I got arrested for stealing a Heartless l/s tester.

Why would I even dream about that if I have my own Heartless?

I told my husband and he said "Maybe it's because you need it", me "Well, but I do have it!", he "Then it's because you probably don't have enough make-up, buy yourself another one".

EDIT: I re-read this post and it is weird.

Even if I didn't have Heartless, I'd still not steal it from the store. LOL

I hope everyone got what they wanted today! I went to my counter just to play around and I got there about 3pm and they hadn't sold out of anything. I almost got a b/u of BoaA. I want to get BoaA or Briar Rose (or both) for my cousin. She's just getting into MAC and loving it... but I think this collection kinda overwhelmed her and I think these two things would look lovely on her

She's my makeup buddy
