ooh! i just got Ravishing last week. must try that one out.

I love my MIA, I should use it more but i am doing well just getting in the shower without glasses, socks, pajamas on in the morning. I save MIA for when I am more conscious. tee hee!

I got Innocence Beware and I love it. The only other nude lippie I have is Hue. Don't know if that really helps

argh, the uk launch and confusion over release dates is driving me crazy! i rang my nearest counter to ask about preorders and events (which they don't do, grr) and they said vv should be available online already?! apparently for the uk it was due up 1st october

So I went back to the counter today.. A lot of it was sold out but I got what I wanted, Briar Rose and Mean & Green. I'm happy

Used She Who Dares the first time today (only the green side) and I have to say that I'm pretty happy I bought it. It does look awesome!

Erm... I got invited to an event? It's next Tuesday.. and normally it comes online around then too? The UK is so mixed up with everything!

yeah, i rang up after i saw your post because i was hoping my counter would be doing something, but apparently they're not

and ARGH tell me about it. tbh i've been really unimpressed with the lack of knowledge MAC employees have had about this... i visited the selfridges counter on monday and asked for the in store date and they said 'the end of october'! and then 'oh actually it's probably the first thursday of october' after i asked them to double check with a manager. and it is quite clearly NOT on the website yet, so i have no idea what my local counter MUA was talking about!

edit: i just rang up again, and my counter deffo isn't doing a pre-launch event, but they're doing something the saturday after the launch (dressing up & demo-ing the looks). and definitely no chance of preorders! and they're expecting v little stock too - they said maybe 3 of each item eeeeek. i am totally getting there for like half eight in the morning and waiting til they open

Which counter/store do you use? If it's a counter, there is very little chance of any events, you're probably better to try f/s store...

And that's so weird, 3 of each item?! Wtf!

i usually use selfridges on oxford st as i'm frequently in ldn, but for vv i'll be using bournemouth (and then visiting selfridges on oxford st the next day in case i miss out on anything) because i'm down south that day. sadly there's no f/s store anywhere near me, it's all counters for like 60+ miles! tis so frustrating, even the counter i'm going to is 25 miles away and it's my nearest!

i know, i'm gutted (i don't want any backups, but i want a LOT from vv and i'm scared i won't get it!) - i don't think they've got their stock yet because she said that's what they usually get in for limited collections, fingers crossed it's a bit more than that : just in case i'm going SUPER early

i plan to try and order, and then get anything i miss out on on thursday, but i've got a strong feeling i'm going to miss the online release... i work weekdays from early afternoon to 9/10pm and i just KNOW it's going to launch whilst i'm at work and i won't see! although after two MUAs have said it was meant to launch yesterday i'll be stalking the website every five minutes! very jealous of you getting to go to an event tho, totally post pictures when you get back

My lips are rather pigmented too, but IB looks ok on me. Natural, even. It's one of the few nudes that I can pull off. Maybe you should check it out.

I don't think TT is a must have, at least not for me (but that's coz I already own Coral Polyp). Ever Hip is not a bright color, and it's more peachy not coral. Do you wear coral lips often? And do you wear bright lips often? If not, you might not wind up using TT even after buying it. Just trying to save you some money here.

Yeah, I'm at college from 1 till 5 on Tuesdays, and I'm always scared of the same thing. It normally launches straight after lunchtime though, so you might just get it

And I will do, I just wish more people had events to go to, I feel like a loner!

Btw, I wore Oh So Fair today. VERY pigmented, I'm impressed! It works as a subtle blush on my NC35 skin, and it wasn't ashy-looking at all. Medium skin tones can rock this color too!

Revenge Is Sweet is very sheer when worn alone. I think it kinda dried out my lips a little too, which is weird.

Alright, so I hadn't really posted what I thought about what I bought I love it all. I was a little let down with Strange Potion, though. For some reason, it just doesn't apply too well on my lips alone.

Yesterday I put it over Maybelline's Color Sensational lipstick in Totally Toffee and it looked soooo good. It made my lips look very juicy and plump.

I'm so in love with French Quarter and Vainglorious, those two are definitely my favorites.

As for Wicked Ways and Heartless? I love them! Not to mention it makes my lips look like the smex.

Yesterday I applied Revenge is Sweet on my lips after eating (some yummy shrimp tempura and soba

) and I told my best friend how the lipgloss kind of made it seem like I had been sucking on a greasy steak.

But it was a very pretty color, so I'm happy I bought it... and will be even happier when I pair it with Violetta! I didn't get a chance to put on Hot House alone on my lips but I did slap it over Lousiana from NYX and it looks hot.

Toxic Tale! I almost backed out of purchasing this, but thank goodness I didn't! It's soooo pretty and it's just right color for me, a hot coral-y pink

I paired it with Strange Potion and I really liked how it looked. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchases.

I did not like the packaging and I have dupes for all of them in my collection. Money saved!
