Yay I tried IB for the second time today and guess what? It was actually pretty on! The formula kind of accentuated the dryness of my puckers but that's my fault - I need to exfoliate and drink more water helloo. They were out of stock but that's ok because at least I know I can actually pull off a color like this.

To torture, i also tried on TT. I had to layer it a bit using a brush but the end result was not neon orange at all lol. In fact, it was a subdued pretty coral on me. The MA and I took a moment of silence because it was all sold out lol.

By accident, I tried on Sinister (I mistook it for Dark Deed) and it's definitely sheer on me. It was moisturizing and flattering but nothing really to call home about, IMHO anyway.

I didn't leave empty handed though.. I ended up with Darkly My Dear - you guys made me do it!

Today I got my black box!!!

Somebody, please slap me!

I was (am still) having a dreadful day today and I needed a pick-me up.

So, I called around to a few of the MAC counters and stores in my area and tracked down Toxic Tale l/s.

I dragged my depressed self over to the mall across town at the beginning of rush hour and had an unplanned VV makeover!

The MUA did a great job!

After mucking about with the mineralized e/s I asked the mua to create a look using the MDM e/s.

She used MDM e/s all over my lids, Blackberry e/s in the crease and Seedy Pearl to highlight.

She lined under my eye with a black pencil and followed that with MDM e/s as well.

A couple of coats of the new Haughty?? mascara was applied to upper and bottom lashes.

We also tried SWD with the French Quarter gps. Gorgeous!!! I purchased the gps so now I have two!

We tried the beauty powders next and I instantly fell in love with Briar Rose - so I purchased it!

I'm going to use it as a blusher.

BR is my first beauty powder purchase!

We also tried Beet liner & Toxic Tale l/s with both Hot House and Strange Potion l/g. It's hawt with Hot House!!

I didn't like the SP/TT combo. I looked like something my grandma would wear!!!! (Don't get me wrong, I Luvv's my grandma!!)

I ended up hauling:

HH l/g
Sp l/g
RIS l/g
BoaA blush
MDM e/s
SWD e/s
DD l/s
FQ gps
Violetta l/s (plain tube!)

Now I can truly say I am done with this collection and MAC for the rest of the year!

OK, I need to announce it. I am in love with French Quarter

I am not feeling very well today and have had virtually no sleep. I just tightlined with FQ and threw on some mascara and hey presto - subtle, bright, gorgeousness!

Aw I'm glad you all are enjoying your goodies!
I went in to MAC today and picked up Vainglorious, De-Vil, and Devilishly Stylish! Loveeeeeee them, perfect fall colors!
Tomorrow, my SWD is suppose to be coming in...& I'm still waiting on the BoA and Violetta I ordered...
I hate all this waiting!!

Never again.

I have been using BOAA almost every day (along with T & L) since I got it. Actually I have two BOAA, and I am contemplating calling around to find a third. So no you are not the only one. LOL!

LOL you should call around to find the third one. I have swatched BOAA and this will be love once I use it with Stereo Rose MSF.

I think Imma try to hunt down Toxic Tale tomorrow. Im having a change of heart after seeing all these swatches that look so georgous!

I seen it still on display at a counter a couple of days ago, so I hope they still have it

Yes I know that that, coz I saw your swatches (thank you!).

I almost died when I saw it labelled as "Rose", but thankfully the color looked nice enough and somewhat similar to OSF.

I don't know if I should get the face kit though, I've always wanted to get Dame, but I do not like how Plum Foolery looks on me.

Anyways, how much of the Rose BP will be in the face kit? Will I be better off if I just get a backup of OSF, since the compact looks like it contains more product?

Thought i come out of my lurking place to rave about how gorgeous Toxic Tale is!!!!

I got my black box after a week waiting in vain. No confirmation email whatsoever and that day when it arrived i felt like the UPS guy was more handsome usual...
I didn't touch TT yet because I was scared when I saw it and thought I was going to sale it.

Tonight when i was home alone, nothing to do, I finally conquered my fear. Just before shower I put TT and BOAA. Nothing else. Excuse my tired face...And here it is!

I hope BOAA shows up a bit. It's pretty hard to capture on camera.
I am in loooooveee with TT!!!

It's not overly bright on me and I can tone it down by blotting. A perfect coral pink!
It ends up to be the highlight of my purchase. BOAA is also super gorgeous it makes me blushed from within. Not a lot of blushes do that to me.

I know TT doesn't always work for everybody but wooohooooo, at least get it and try!!! I never knew what I would have missed if i hadn't tried it
