Thought I'd share my backorder news that I got from Nordstrom...
They told me that they are definitely receiving a second order from MAC for all their VV stuff & that is why there are backorder dates of 10/22 on their site. So before you spend a zillion dollars on ebay or wherever you might just want to hang in there until 10/22. I can't imagine that MAC would restock Nordstrom.com & not their own site & stores.

WOW!

I'm so glad I picked up Toxic Tale!

This is such a gorgeous shade!!!

Yes, It looks scary in the tube but I decided to hook it up - as I usually do with all of my lippies.

For depth around the lip line I used Chestnut l/l (lightly), then lightly filled in with Mahogany l/l, added a touch of beet for more color, lightly blended all of the l/l and added the TT on top using a lip brush.

GORGEOUS! I tell you!

When I tried TT on @ the counter, the MUA used beet l/l and we jazzed it up with Hot House l/g.

Today I put on a bit of Lychee Luxe l/g in the center of my lips and Oh my my!

I'm loving this

Oh, my Violetta l/s showed up today.

PRETTY!

I'm going to wear it tomorrow!

Well after lunch I decided to do another look with TT. I put the l/s on first and then lined my lips with Beet l/l. Pretty! TT works with just one liner or a bunch! This lippie is def. a surprise! and is very versatile!

Also going to use She Who Dares with Sassy Grass.

Oh - before I forget: While calling around for TT l/s yesterday, one of the MUA mentioned that if I mixed So Chaud and Impassioned l/s the end result would be Toxic Tale!

ok so the goodies nick let me have now are the following -

hot house - possibly my fave pink gloss ever! it's so opaque and just awesome!!

truth and light cooling powder - this is interesting. it certaintly feels cold when applied but balled up a little bit when i used too much. very shimmery though and i am not sure how some people are putting it all over their face... but it looks nice on my cheekbones!

briar rose - sooo pretty! and surprisingly pigmented!

ming blue polish - yeah i know it's not from this collection but i was excited! stunning colour but so freaking thick and goopy!

the rest of my stuff will be given to me on my birthday!

I need to practice wearing BoA. Unlike my other blushes, it's too much if I brush it back from my apples. It's almost better if I just dab a little on right up front for a bit of flush.

Also, it doesn't look so pretty with Gilt By Association. Just gotta experiment with eye/cheek combos I guess. It does, however, go nicely with Boys Go Crazy l/g.

I have been loving both the BP from this collection. Wearing OSF today and used HOD yesterday. I know I will use these until I hit pan...

Today I wore Pet Me Please over OSF and it looks so natural on me! Even DH noticed and commented that my mu looks pretty today...

Here we go, the last one probably shows it best. Gold shimmer comes through at certain angles on all of them.

I forgot to mention, two coats of the matte polish are used, and then one coat of Bad Fairy

OK so it took me two coats to get Bad Fairy even and looking opaque. I loves it!

I put a nice top coat on it...if it's like any other MAC polish it will only last for about three days, but I'm OK with that.

Okay quick review

Briar rose - really beautiful, kind of rose violet colour and pigmented too! Would look really nice with a smokey eye make up and pink nude lipstick.

Bite of an apple - pigmented "flushed" colour. I haven't worn it yet though but I have swatched it and it seems smooth.

She who dares mes - gorgeous! Really stunning glittery colour when used wet, I wasn't sure if the colour would show up strongly or whether it would just look like glitter but it does and it's so pretty! I used it over a creamy base (yaby erm pearl eyeshadow I think it's called?) to make sure it didn't cause irritation though. I think the green side is the nicest

My dark magic - just as beautiful as she who dares but in purple and pink

I didn't get the style black mes last year so I'm pleased they came back, I would love one in a kind of coppery red gold colour! That would look amazing.
