I'm still learning my way through makeup, so it's always interesting when I saw a new technique or a use of a product I never thought of

. I just recently discovered the wonders of l/l. One thing I very rarely use is n/p. I'm not so careful with my nails so I consider myself lucky if a n/p could stay good until the end of the day!

From VV I love French Quarter GPS! There's so many things I could do with it, e/s base, liner, it's also pretty on its own. I love the color of Strange Potion, but I need a mirror when applying it or it'll look very streaky. Revenge is Sweet is nice, but I don't go for purple lips that often... I'm still hoping I'll like it more when winter comes.

i do that sometimes! use something to death and then when i realise i cant re-purchase it for whatever reason i just stop using it altogether. luckily mac always make dupes though so i never have to wait a long time for something that looks identical. apart from lollipop loving of course!

I finally got my VV fix!

Today was "preview night" at our MAC store.. We could look at the collection and buy stuff, but the official launch is on Tuesday.. Of course I couldn't wait until then so I had to go early in the morning and I got all what I wanted!!

All the SA's had beautiful makeup on.. I LOVED the music they played at the store, it reminded me of Disneyland! <3 They even had the Evil Queen's cape and crown for customers to try on and take a polaroid picture xD

A new Macy's counter opened in my area and they have everything from this collection. They have only been there for 4 weeks. honestly I don't think anyone in the city knows about this counter. let me know if anyone needs anything. i can do a CP. I got notable today and i love it. DMD is more pink and not exactly what I want. notable is perfect.

Today was a purple day for me.

I wore BR BP with By Candlelight MSF and Vintage Grape Blush Ombre.
So pretty! My cheeks were absolute love!

Thanks to the specktra members who suggested BC msf and vintage grape.

These products have not been getting much love.

I also wore Violetta w/currant l/p and viva glam VI l/g. Lovely!

VV is such a great collex!

I'm glad I decided to try the beauty powder.

Now, In the future I won't turn my nose up at them!

I love Darkly My Dear. I was mildly concerned about being able to wear it because I'm sooo pale but I figured even if I couldn't I could use it on clients and such. But I love it!!

I would like to hear more opinions about Bad Fairy. I read some really bad reviews on MUA it being very sheer (multiple coats needed to get the colour solid and opaque) and the formula being bad. Now, I have Formidable! and it was fine, I only needed two coats for it being fully opaque. I have to say it didn't look as duochromey as it did on some pictures online, but nevertheless it very beautiful - I love those dark colours in fall and winter. Is BF performing worse? It keeps coming to my mind, but now I have only the choice to pay about 30 bucks for it, so I could use some more opinions about how good it is before I decide whether to get it or not. Thanks!

I went to use my MDM mes from this collection today and the plastic part from the lid with Maleficent on it popped out from the compact.

I'm so upset, as I completely love it! Is this a normal occurence with MES? Should I just try to dab a little hot glue on it to get it back in? Or is there some way that it clicks in? I'm just so, so upset

You definitely do need a few coats to make it look just right. I ended up using three but in all honesty, I use 2-3 coats with most polishes. But the finish is sooo gorgeous and it's such an amazing and unique color that it's well worth the effort, in my opinion. It dries fairly quickly and I got great wear out of it! I didn't get any chips for quite a while-I think I had some minor touching up to do around day 6 or 7, I can't recall. If you like the formula of Formbidable and the wear....You'd like Bad Fairy's, I think

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but I just wanted to say that SWD looks Fabulous over UD's Flipside e/l and also over Float on By eye kohl. I'll put up the swatches later. Dh has the camera.
