That's what I am telling myself all the time, as I really like some of the products, especially the MES

Thank you! Something was bothering me with these compacts but I couldn't figure out what

The Dr Facilier one seriously annoys me, so much that I'll probably avoid it. Is that too weird?

i actually liked the dr Facilier one best! the off centre image obviously doesn't bother me!

I think the off-centerness makes them a little less cheesy. If it was a Disney character smack-dab in the middle of each product then it would really look like kids play makeup.

I like the Maleficent one best, because since she is dressed in black, she becomes only an outline against the black compact. Lets see.. that's Briar Rose then. I guess I can live with that compact if I like the product.

It only matters to me how good the products are, I don't care how the special packaging looks like, although I do like the shiny black here, it's like vinyl. I could care less about Disney. Same with Hello Kitty, I don't care for it, but the products I liked with HK collection so it was a major haul for me! Of course it's a nice surprise if the packaging is cool, but I didn't think it could be too cool with Disney involved. Yeah, I'm lame.

Okay I'm looking forward to the blushes, beauty powders (if they are like Shell Pearl, not like the ones from HK), the bronze burgundy e/s, the nail lacquers and possibly the mclp. I'm trying to resist the lippies and the MES (I don't use enough the Style Black ones to justify getting more similar products).

This is very Disney, and I am sure MAC has made contracts with Disney which say how the packaging should look like.

I like them too -- at my age, it looks campy and original as I should have a John Hardy all silver or gold compact

but I likes it.. I recall my HK stuff when I whipped that out and used it

I think they'll grow on me once I can see ALL the packaging once product pictures come out.

I LOVE Maleficent. I've idolized her since I was a kid. I will be getting everything from her collection, so help me.

MAC really wants me to go broke this year.

looks to me that he is only going to get limited face time as his image is only going to be centered, full scale on the magic powders. it will be interesting to see how MAC gets his image on the greasepaint sticks, pigment jars, and lip gelee.

100% disney would have put their foot down with how the collection should look. it's most likely why we had to wait for this collection for so long!

I hope no one believed that I carry a John Hardy or Gold compact case.. I actually carry a CD plastic case in which I put my compact tablet, my blotting powder and blush all in one slim case.. but I can dream..lol

I will definitely just buy the products I like and which I will wear - not "just" the compacts.
I am sure I will get the compacts I like the least
