So I should definitely swap for it? Haha sorry it is out of the Archie topic, but I am debating it since it would be for my Early Morning blush, which idk if I want to depart from. I have heard both good and bad from Spaced Out.. some say its too orange others that its perfect!

Okay I'll get out both my Early Morning and Spaced Out and give you my best comparison/contrast, lol

Early Morning: Heavy swatch immediate color appearance is a Frosted Rose, hint of a berry color. Blends into a soft rosy pink.

Spaced Out: Heavy swatch immediate color appearance is Fluorescent Coral, leans more on the pink side than orange. Blends into a shimmery pink, you can still see a hint of neon even when blended out.

Early Morning fades into your skin nicely, Spaced Out still definitely pops even when blended.

I say go for it if you'll get good use out of the other three shadows. Plus I really think Gravel suits this palette. It looks kinda boring in the pan but it's a great crease color for darker looks. I would totally get this palette except I want to save money. It sure is pretty to look at though

You know what after writing this now I'm losing my resolve not to get it

Grrrr, the more I look at Caramel Sundae, the more I want it. D; Oh! And can anyone that sees the pigments tell me if the tops screw on or not? I swore to myself I wouldn't buy another pigment that had those stupid divets on the lips of the jars.
All mac pigment lids screw on.

The tops are screw-top caps, and they don't have any sort of sifter. And Caramel Sundae is gorgeous. It's not the type of crazy pigmented palette that people demand these days, but it's bomb. Karen is so right about that mid-tone tan being freaking fabulous. The colors work together beautifully and create a natural eye that has a little special something. Not just bronze and brown.

That's a looooong time ago. It's a very simple case of "don't bite the hand that feeds." Negative vibes do not sit too well with PR departments - and there's a big difference between an honest review and just trashing collections and feeding into negative comments. Make up should be fun. If you don't like a brand (anymore), don't buy or review it.

Anyway, 'nuff said :)
And well said!!!!!

We could probably have a whole thread devoted to T and other blogs, there is much to say and debate about. I'm just too tired to care about keeping it rolling.

I will say that I MISS KarlaSugars swatches. I know she did mostly heavy swatches (and light/ heavy for face stuff) but I found her coloring matching mine pretty closely.

So yeah... ANYWAY......

I really want the purple quad. I already have gravel though (barely use it... ha, since I forgot I even have it!) Should I bother to get it for just 3 shadows?
I am still kicking my butt about missing out on Shop & Drop Quad... so I don't want to regret it! But I don't know. I guess I should be thankful it isn't Carbon in the quad.
Yes...now I check Makeupbytiffanyd's blog because her coloring is close to mine and she seems to get a few Mac items with each collection.

Boo to not having a sifter but I'm glad they are screw top again.

What do you mean? I still have my Archie comic books from when i was little, from the mid 80's(yes telling my age...
blush-anim-cl.gif
) Alot of them are missing pages or cut up because I use to make paper dolls out of them!

I think she is talking about the one that is Karens swatches/blog

yup thats so true lol but now I gotta figure out what NOT to buy

hoping karens reviews will help since I don't think T will have it up in time for the pre launch party on the 5th.
Still working on my list--way too much anxiety--still all preliminary. I'm getting a few things for my daughter--very easy picks there because she's not into makeup the way that I am. I'll get her some pink cutesy things for Valentine's Day.

My local MAC has the collection in! But not for sale yet. So i'm going tomorrow to swatch. However, they said NO PRE-SALES. Boo-hoo.

At least all i MIGHT want is one lipstick, one lipglass, and one pearlmatte - but it sounds like Veronica's pearlmatte is a lot like one coming out in the Baking Beauties collection, so if the base colors are the same or really really close (and how the heck would i know?) i guess i'll skip Veronica's.
