I was really excited about everything from this collection, but then my grandad was run over by a car yesterday evening. He's a vicar and was going home from a day spent visting all of his more elderly parishioners. I feel sick. He's been sent home from hospital, but has a ton of bruises, grazes and now stitches! The woman who did it just phoned up my grandma, said who she was, then hung up. Sorry to rant, but I'm so mad!
Oh gosh, hope he feels better soon.

LOVE your glasses. I wear contacts mostly but would wear glasses more if you could see my makeup better through them. These look perfect.

I posted this on Instagram yesterday... and there is a tiny bit of a filter on here so take it was you want.... but here you go.

I'm so sorry. You must be in shock. I hope he recuperates well.

Thanks! They're from Coastal.com. I'd wear contacts but I'm bad at sticking my finger in my eye and the idea of wearing bifocal contacts just seems so weird to me.... And the big frame really makes it so I can see everything while I drive.

I received BB in the mail yesterday and I was surprised at how unique the color is. It's much pinker and less peach/coral than I thought it'd be. I posted these comparison swatches on my blog and thought it'd be helpful here too.
I always described coral to my customers (because a lot of them didn't understand for some reason) as if pink/red and orange had a baby. Usually I find that MAC corals are more orange or if they're pink/red based they're darker... Betty Bright is really unique to MAC and I hope they have more colors like it :). I always mixed VG Nicki w/ Myth, and this is basically the color I'd achieve but no mixing sooo I'm in love.

I do not like Temptalia's lip swatches...If I went by those swatches I would never purchase a lipstick!!! I wish she would mute out her natural lip color...IMO....IM JUSS SAYIN'
I totally agree! It makes it really difficult to get a feel for the actual lipstick color.

There's still so much more that I want from this collection! I hope things are still hanging around at the end of next week (which is payday!). ::fingers crosssed::

Wow Gracie that is so terrible. Your grandma should report her. I hope that he recovers fast.

Well I just tried Flatter Me on my cheeks. I was worried it wouldn't show up b/c I'm a light nc 35(really in between nc 30-35 during winter) but it shows up quite well. A soft peachy pink. However, I wish they would of put more pink hearts because I know once the hearts are gone it won't show up on my as anything except to use for blotting the t zone throughout the day. Hopefully the hearts will last till it hits pan though but I am pleased how well it shows up on warmer medium skin tone.

Hahahaha!! Seriously though! Especially with nude and really light lipsticks she needs to start using lip erase.

On a related note, I actually just bought myself some lip erase (with one of my archie orders), and I'm kinda lovin' it. The stuff works!

I think the hearts go all the way down to pan (ie it's not just a superficial layer). So you should be fine!
