watching that video before i head to the store was one of the worst things i could have done. now, i suddenly feel i need those pigments and the caramel sundae quad.
i give up on selectivity with this collection. i'm going in there and doing whatever i want.

So glad you posted this, especially for anyone who might have been on the fence about the Spoiled Rich quad.

Hi Everyone! I rarely post, but I lurk almost everyday! I just wanted to share my look using the Spoiled Rich quad. I was really nervous because I ordered it before T's swatches and review came out. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! It definitely looks better on than judging on swatches alone. I'm also wearing Cream soda blush, and Flatter Me pearlmatte over and slightly above it to highlight. Sorry about the lighting, I was only able to take this picture after work today. I'm NC 40/42 for reference!

i was getting kinda antsy with refreshing, so that i could finish catching up...lol....

anyway, on my way to the hairdresser i passed by a mac counter in the bay...they actually have two in that bay. upstairs was teeming withe people having makeup done, they had a jukebox, but i didn't glimpse any archie models. pretty much none of the products excpt nail polishes were in the displays because they were all being used, so i headed downstairs to check out the smaller counter. i ended up coming away with flatter me pearlmatte. i didn't try veronica's blush on my hand, just compared the two on my hand, and thought i'd get more use out of FM, so asked the mua if i could try it on my cheeks. anyway, gives a nice smooth finish, and worked well with cream soda which i had on since the morning.

got my stuff today from macy's. still no lip products, and somehow I'm strangely and serenely okay with that. I do think i need another caramel sundae quad. I know i am going to burn through those colors. i was more excited to get my shiseido cotton squares and other stuff.

Something told me to get it last week when I had the chance but in some rare moment of clarity I convinced myself that I didn't need anymore reds. Now I have to scour allover NYC looking for it. I was so disappointed I didn't even get anything else.

RR looks so nice on me. It pulls like a pinkish-red on me, similar to Love Goddess.

Mac guy or anyone, do you know a good alternative to Sheer Mytsery powder.

You might want to try the NARS Translucent Illuminating powder. I got it today and plan to use it alternating with the SMP. Mine arrived today but I was already made up. I couldn't wait, so I tried it & could actually see its effects. I'm eager to lightly set my makeup with it tomorrow.
