I found this on Instagram of one of the Betty nail polishes but I'm confused because I thought they didn't come with Betty and Veronica on them???
If you go on the Macy's and Bloomingdales sites, they give you the option to order the polish either with or without Betty and Veronica on them.

It's my daughter's 11th birthday today and part of her gift was Mall Madness. She was just beside herself and probably applied it 3 or 4 times before she even left for school. I give her a month (max) before the tube is empty and she's already told me that she doesn't want to BTM it because of the packaging.

She's been lusting after MAC for at least a year, but I've always said no. She does have MAC makeup for performing, but I don't let her wear it other than on the ice. I got her Dreamy l/g a couple of weeks ago through BTM (after she asked why her big sis always gets my empties and I didn't have a particularly good reason) and she's made a dent in that already. I have KaDT for Valentine's day for her, so she's on her way.

All she's allowed to wear at this point is lipgloss, but I know another addict in the making when I see one!

Aww that is so cute. I love it when little girls wear lipgloss. I think that choice is very age appropriate.

My almost final haul is:

Betty Bright x 2
Daddy's Little Girl
Ronnie Red
Kiss and Don't Tell
Mall Madness
Cream Soda
Prom Princess
Flatter Me
Designer Purple
Spoiled Rich
Caramel Sundae

I still have my eye on Veronica's Blush PM and possibly Lucky in Love. Even though I was so sure Flatter Me would be sufficient instead of both PMs, I am now convinced Veronica's Blush will look better on me for some reason. I can't resist all the raving I hear about it.

It's so hard for me to choose a favorite or even 3. I think the easier thing would be to say what has been somewhat of a let down. I'm a little disappointed in the pink in Cheryl Chic. I wanted it to be slightly more pigmented, but it's still beautiful &a pink base under helps out. I'm also slightly disappointed in Ronnie Red being a bit more pinky than I had expected. It's still gorgeous, but I've been wanting something like Ruffian Red. Too bad I skipped that one when I had the chance.

What is everyone's favorite piece (if you can narrow it down) from this collection?

Finally got my Prom Princess blush! It's soooo pretty! I can't wait to try it on. I placed this order on the 2nd and it arrived at my p.o. today. And for some reason it had a Customs Declaration and Dispatch Note attached. That was the first time I've had that attached to any of my MAC boxes.

I'm NC 45/50 in MAC, Revlon Caramel, L'Oreal C6, if that helps. I was matched as NC50 8 thousand yrs ago when I first tried MAC (late 90's) but I use NC 45 concealer and NC50 for my darker areas or if I'm doing an allover face thing. I like cream foundation so I use Studio Finish concealer in NC50 (same as full coverage foundation) as foundation w/ NC45 PLW concealer under eyes and around my nose. BB was scary until a blended the edges with the NYX liner.

In the pics, I used NYX HD concealer in Nutmeg under my eyes and on spots (set with Ruby Kisses Banana HD powder) then blended out with Revlon Colorstay whipped foundation in Caramel, using the ELF Stipple brush. HTH
cocofiere - thank you for listing your foundation colors - I have been eyeing L'Oreal True Match and now I see what color to start with! And the face swatches are making me regret not buying Ronnie Red. Maybe I will catch the restock... (supposed to be saving for the Fashion Sets in April - AARGH!)

I'm trying not to buy Lucky in Love pigment. Does anyone have gilded green pigment and lucky in love pigment so I can see comparison swatches? TIA

@cocfiere - thatnks for posting your foundation shades here - I am the same in MAC and Colorstay , so that gave me a place to start with L'Oreal True Match. I never could figure that out, and the website kept recommending N8, which is way too dark.

Me too. She has her whole life to be a woman; she only has a few years left to be a girl. I really don't like seeing girls her age dressed like mid to late teens or wearing a lot of makeup. Children are naturally beautiful. For a special occasion like a banquet, maybe a little sheer wash of champagne eyeshadow. Maybe. I don't care if I'm old school; I want her to enjoy the stage she's at now and look the part. I certainly don't want her to think that that she needs to alter the way she looks naturally to be attractive.

Hi! your swatches were TREMENDOUSLY helpful! i wish my Daddy's Little girl looked as beautifully lilac /fuschia/lavender as yours does. Mine in outdoor light appeared more of darkened. muted Liberty of London Petals and Peacocks! I would love to see an amplified version of Outrageously Fun

I'm nw10/nw15 and cream soda looks awful on me :( it just made my face look almost dirty, like I had fake tanner on my cheeks. I knew I wasn't going to love it when I got it but I didn't listen to my gut. Oh well.

I got Betty Bright and Oh, Oh, Oh today!

What can I say about Betty Bright that hasn't already been said?
greengrin.gif
It's a gorgeous color, really bright, and like nothing else I have in my collection. But definitely exfoliate your lips before you wear it as it does tend to cling to/accentuate dry spots. Otherwise, I think it's gorgeous and perfect for the upcoming warm months! It will look great on tanned skin. EDIT: I find that I like it best after it's been on my lips for a while and I gently blot it away. It turns into an amazing, gentle pink stain on your lips. I just put a little lip balm on top and I'm ready to go. It's perfect if you're trying to wear this lipstick in a more subtle way.

Not sure if Oh, Oh, Oh isn't getting as much attention as the other lipsticks because it's a repromote, or what, but it really is beautiful. I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it. It turns into a sort of "my lips but better" shade on me.

Good for you Audrey C. I remember standing in the girl's bathroom and watching all the other 11 year olds put on a face full of makeup. I so wanted to be them but, I was not allowed to wear anything until I was 14 and in high school. I didn't wear much once I was allowed but now, looking back, 14 was too young for the amount of makeup my friends wore.

I just put on Betty Bright and it's so gorgeous! I want to wear it every day! I just did a quick look with BB, Feeling Fresh on the lid, and Cream Soda, and I love it. If my skin was behaving, I would take a picture. I'll try to get a picture in a day or two.

Oh no! I'm sorry about that. I bought Cream Soda (I'm NW20) but, I haven't received it yet. I am really debating PP, but am unsure. I asked for feedback a couple of pages back. I have full cheeks, so I worry it will look horrible and clowny on me.
