I agree - those kinda rules are more like guidelines for people who want to play it safe...it's hard to go wrong if you follow 'the rules'. Never wear white after labour day, never wear a bold eye with a bold lip, never wear pink with red, always apply your lipstick with a brush... I tend not to pay attention to rules like that, because they're too generic, and far too limiting!

Thank you for that! No, I don't own the liner, but Embrace Me looks more like a truer pink on you than DLG... pretty! I think I might have to go with all of the lipsticks for the Fashion sets collection, still doubting Ablaze tho.If you got Embrace me Lip Liner compare it with that? As I assume the lipstick will be the same as the liner if not similar. Here's a picture of Embrace Me liner and DLG. I haven't lined my lips or anything so it was a quick swatch hence why they look so uneven ha but on me they both look different. DLG is more of a purple where as Embrace me is more of a bright pink.
Top is DLG and Embrace Me is bottom. Ignore the dry lips and not lining them to look perfect ha.

I'm really loving Betty Bright! I used it today with Cream Soda and Shell Pearl on my cheeks and Guerlain's Coup de Foudre on my eyes and I'm just in love with this combo!
I have an extra one I can part with if you decide you still want one.only thing I missed out on was Ronnie Red

I know I'm late into the game but I really love this collection. It's the first MAC one I actively looked for items for. I have all six lipsticks via different sales and auctions, the pin, and hopefully a tote if my brother bought it for me. I'd still hope to find/snap up Kiss and Don't Tell, the brush set, the pearlglides (LE packaging or not) and the coin and makeup bags if I can find them cheap enough on eBay or a swap site. No way I'm paying full price for the bags especially. My favorite item by far is Betty Bright. I've used it so often that it's already halfway out! XD I'm gonna need to find backups someday.

That's a shame but I think I know why. It's the color in the tube. It must've frightened some people who thought they couldn't pull if off. I considered not buying it... until I went to a MAC counter and swatched it. It's truly better looking than it is in the tube.
