based on swatches alone, I would say Sounds like noise is a bit more opaque than My beautiful rocket. Also, SLN also looks more true orange where as MBR leans a bit more warm. SLN is a matte lipstick and temptalia gives it way better ratings.

Well, I ended up just buying Daydreaming. I would have bought the lipstick also, but since there was no Pro discount on this collection, I decided to pass. MAC should realize that getting a little too greedy with no Pro discount on certain items will cost them in the end. I bet quite a few of you would have ordered more had they applied their usual Pro discount to this collection. Oh, well, I get to keep more money in my pocket!

I got the lipstick and eye shadow. I thought CC was gonna kick my butt for not answering her texts. She even threatened to order for me. I'm glad she got in touch with me though. I'm sure she was ready to snap thinking we all were sleeping and gonna miss out. LOL

Lol! You're right. I was freaking out. I was about to buy 4 more for CPs. The only reason I waited was because of MAC's item limit. I had already ordered 3 lipsticks and was debating if they would cancel the order. I was going to risk it and place the order anyway until I saw your post about my phone.

I wonder if the combo of no pro discount and maybe more stock as its just online is keeping it around. I remember yr and ruffian red lasted a bit w ruffian lasting a long time. Plus I bet the evil bayers r pros who use the discount in un savory ways so they lost some profit margin. Maybe Mac did it so that won't happen. It sux for the pros who use their accounts the right way tho. They should at least give u guys free shipping.

That's what sucks - not knowing until later whether the lack of sleep was worth it. I'm trying to function today on 90 minutes of sleep and I could've had 6-7. Oh we'll...better than sleeping through the night and waking up to everything being sold out #MACMarilynflashback

I don't think it negates it even if the item is still in stock. You're taking steps to make sure you get what you want. Like studying for a test to make sure you pass it. You're balancing what you know with what could be.

Probably b/c it was hard to find. To the general, non-stalking public the collection was not showing up even when you did a search on Hayley.

I wonder how fast things will sell out now that the collection is public.

I think there is still stock because orange is an intimidating color to most people. This is an online only release so I'm sure people are reluctant. Wasn't Ablaze one of the last lipsticks to sell out in Fashion Sets? I remember with Iris Apfel, Scarlet Ibis lasted a while and was the last to sell out. I have a friend that wears all sorts of reds, pinks, and even blacks yet orange is that one color that is out of her comfort zone. So I think the color, along with the pro discount are responsible for the amount of stock still left.
Anyway, I should have overnighted my stuff to see if I wanted a backup before it sells out! :/

You think so? When I called Pro I was told that they received a memo from corporate stating that this was not Pro discount applicable.

It doesn't, I don't believe. Just got off the phone w a rep and insisted she ask a supervisor. She said the PRO email states that only some items are applicable for the pro discount. (Shellcat confirmed this email.) Apparently, that item is only Lightscapade. A memo had gone out to the reps to let them know the other items do not qualify, probably due to the confusion caused by PROs calling to inquire. Some PROs had been credited earlier when there was still a lot of confusion.
My rep did tell me if they reverse the memo and the PRO discount becomes applicable, she will credit my account...

The orange color is probably not something most people would go for, and there is also the fact that not too many people are actually familiar with Hayley.

I agree with what you mean. However, I feel like the situation is more similar to studying all night for a test, then finding out the next day that it's an open book test, lol! I'd be like, why did I lose sleep over this when the answers would be right in front of my face?

Does anyone (Erine, lipstickdiva420, sandrah, etc.)  know if you can opt to order and pay full price w/free shipping on the regular site if you are a pro member with no issues?  I've never tried but the question popped in my head since the discount doesn't apply anyway for this release.  Between this and the other collections, I'd like to at least save on shipping if possible on full price items.  Thanks in advance!

I was already ordering stuff anyway, so the shipping was unavoidable.
