I love Siss with 3N, but that's limited edition. Have you tried it with Moth to Flame Dazzleglass, Giza lipgloss by Nars or did you buy Ember Glow lipglass from the Spring Colour collection? I think one of those can help.

I have 3N!!! I always use it with 4N lipstick. Never thought to try it with Siss. Thanks!

Just Siahi and Mehr sold out on the UK website at the moment. I ordered these and Saffron, along with a few things from Stylishly and one PP from Cham Pale, which I am hoping might arrive tomorrow.

I have not posted in ages except for a couple in the nail section. My life's a mess now and not sure where it's going but I'm still interested in makeup. Anyway I ordered Siahi and Ivy yesterday morning and got an email this morning saying Siahi was backordered. So will they not send me the Ivy till Siahi is in stock?

Face2Mac.. Saffron is not like red brick at all.. not even a dupe for it.

Red brick is a dark colour with def red tones in it.. this is the colour of dark amber with some orange like the colour of saffron.. but it is gorgeous.

That's exactly what I thought, but I kept my mouth shut because I don't own Red Brick. There's nothing red about Saffron for me.

Got my stuff and I have played with it. I got Siahi f/l, Mehr lipstick, and Saffron eyeshadow.

Mehr: This one was a big question mark and I am glad I took a chance. This is a pretty rosey brown. I don't agree with Mac's description of a dirty pink at all, at least not on my pigmented lips. THis is not a nude, but a natural color. Days when I don't feel like wearing an obnoxious color lippie, I can reach for this and still keep from being boring. It's a think lipstick, but I don't mean it in a bad way. I don't find it especially creamy and it didn't glide across my lips. It feels like a Matte to me, but it doesn't look or feel dry. My only gripe with this is mine smells like a crayon. What the hell?

Siahi: Beautiful! Last minute purchase and glad I made it. I have the MUFE Aqua Eyes pencil. These 2 are the exact same color. What separates them is that the Aqua Eyes pencil is metallic and Siahi isn't. This is my first f/l and I love how smooth and creamy it is. I doubt I'll use it as a base because I bought it with the purpose of lining; that's just me, though. However, I suspect it will work well as both. It's a beautiful dark blue/teal.

Saffron: My favorite item of the three!I was totally going to skip this, but I'm glad I didn't. This really is an orange/coral. It's nothing like Texture, it's deeper than Orange and more vibrant than Rule. I prefer this one over all of those. It's just gorgeous and it will work wherever you decide to put this on the eye. It's buttery smooth and pigmented.

good review on the two items i am waiting on. i kinda figured Siahi was a flatter (non metallic) color. that is exactly what i need for my oily lids. I have big plans for it. Saffron too.

Speaking of Mehr, I got the backorder e-mail this morning. They say MAC is expecting to ship the item within two weeks. Really? I almost gave up. OK, if you say so, I'll wait.

Oh that's great news! Hopefully they'll be able to fill all of the backorders.

BTW, I have to agree...your new avatar is the cuteness! Just adorable.

Hi everyone, new to the Spectra, but not new to MAC, after reading all these wonderful descriptions of this collection I decide to order a few items. I pre-ordered Siahi, Ivy, Flesh, and Sur . I may get Saffron , it's supposed to be on hold for me. I can't wait to pick up them on Friday. I ordered from all four collections out now, this site has helped to refuel my addiction!

Is it weird that I placed an order late Monday night for my fluidlines and MAC hasn't even sent me an e-mail saying that I ordered? They have already charged my credit card account but I have no online reciept (I did save the confirmation number). Should I call tomorrow and see what's up, or is this normal for MAC now?

No, thats really not unusual - but I would call to ease your mind.

I ordered the other day and although you get an almost immediate email when you order - I didn't. Thats happened a couple of times. Your order is probably already on its way to you

i ordered mehr yash and the quad and i still didnt get a shipment email. -_- hopefully it's just like vv collectin when i didnt even receive a shipment notification at all and i was surprised to see the package when i got home from work

whoever got Flesh lipglass I would like to know how close it to siss lipstick? I didn't like siss because i felt it made my lips look like a crackhead but im still debating on getting flesh because it just looks so pretty from all the swatches i have seen online...

All this talk about using Siahi as a base has inspired me - I hadn't even thought of that, I was so excited to use it as a liner! Now I'm envisioning using it in a look with Odalisque and Dandizette from Peacocky.... omg.... just might pass out.... I think I need Dandizette now too....

Well, I ended up ordering both fluidlines (I don't have a blue or a green liner, so what the hell), Saffron and Mehr. I thought about both Gulabi and, at the last minute, Yash. If a Montreal store had gotten this, I was going to take Catharina with me to swatch next to Gulabi and determine if there was enough of a difference to be worth it. Yash kind of jumped to mind as I was looking at the site and went back to look at Temptalia's swatches. The only really full-coverage neutral I have is Blankety, so I thought this one might make a nice addition, but I don't want to order it without seeing it first.

I just went ahead & ordered Gulabi. I just could not stand it haunting me any more

I looked at the swatches & can definitely tell there is a difference. And I just love how it looks on the model. We'll see when I get it.
