I read your review of the blush. So sorry to hear that you have trouble with it. It is definitely on the stiffer side, thus make sure to use a firm brush. Personally, I prefer the 169. It's perfect when you need firmer bristles to pick up product. Softer brushes, likes the 168 or paddle versions like the 159 gave me sub ideal results. But the 169 works like a charm. I don't think this is a texture problem, rather than not-the-right-tool issue (which can be easily fixed).

I also suggest that you try to clean the surface with BeautySoClean. This blush needs a dead clean brush. Any residue (powder, oils from your skin, etc.) will create a surface layer that will make it very hard to use this product as it is intended to do. BeautySoClean (or any similar products) should help to get rid of the surface layer. Hopefully you can enjoy this blush. IMO, it is a must-have if you love neutral looks. Enjoy!
As by now I used my Corol twice, but I could agree. It really needs very clean and firm brush. I wash my brushes after each use, but I can see "glazing" starting to appear. I tried to wipe it off with a tissue, but it didn't help very much.

Did you double dip by any chance? This will also cause coating/hardening of the surface. I load my 159 on both sides, one for each cheek, to avoid double dipping. A tissue won't help much to remove the glazing, but BeautySoClean will do a good job. HTH.

BeautySoClean is the best! allows my OCD to clean, and it dosnt ruin or change the texture of my makeup!!! a must have for makeup hoarders

Sometimes I do double dip. Now I see, where the problem really is. Thanks for the tip. I guess it's time to order BeautySoClean :)

Where can you buy Beauty so Clean, usually? I'm in Canada, so our stores are not necessarily the same, but generally do you have to get it from a beauty supply store or is it often available in drugstores? I am using Corol with a Nyx contour/ blush brush, which is kind of stiff, and I find it works fine. Shows up on my face, just not my hand!

I ordered the quad smh. I couldn't help myself. I haven't read/watched a single bad review. I love All That Glitters, the packaging looks gorgeous, and I just kept adding it to my cart. This will be my first (and probably only) MAC quad. But no more until Moody Blooms! No more!

Please forgive me if this has been discussed before, but are restocks usually just at random or is there any rhyme or reason to them? I've been stalking like a nutcase

Try looking at their locator to see where you might be able to purchase in your area. If there are no retailers then you can order online. http://www.beautysoclean.com/find-a-store

The quad is my favorite thing from the whole collection! It's definitely what I'll get the most use out of.
Quad is a must have it performs and it's beautiful if you don't have these shades you're going to regret not getting one!!
I didn't read this!  I don't want/need this quad...I don't want/need this quad...I don't want/need this quad...lalalalalalalalalala
Like butter my friend. I love to enable so take this with a grain of salt but don't sleep on this one. Packaging is a bonus but every shadow in the quad has great pigmentation.
