The only lipglass (I've smelled so far!) that seems off is Shock-O-Late. It's definitely lost it's vanilla scent, if it ever had it at all. When I purchased a replacement, it also the same weird scent - not sure how best to describe it. It's tolerable, but I'll likely pop both in my B2M bag.

Ya really we've been waiting for Ripe peach for ages and sooo disappointed with how UGLY this packaging is.I'd love to get Ripe Peach but I cannot pay $39cdn for a blush in a package that I find so unattractive.
Come on, MAC, repromote this in regular packaging with your normal blush price.

I remembered, T's swatches and lighting almost made me pass on buying Heaux. I thought it didn't look special and hesitated but decided to get it anyway. With that said, I'm probably done second guessing or relying on her swatches. Opera looks prettier/different on Karen's blog. So I'm going to probably get it and Barbecue. If I don't like it I can swap it here on the boards with someone who missed it. My love for Heaux is too real and had I trusted Temptalia I'd of skipped it. She's the first beauty blog I look to for information and I wish bloggers knew how important things like proper lighting are because her lighting especially has cause me to side eye all the reds in this collection.

Yes. You and I both know that Heaux is in a class all by itself. Lighting is important. I am still thinking about Opera. I will wait until I see it on a few sisters first.

I think Opera's going to be like FNF due to her lighting. You expect something and get something entirely different but end up loving it. FNF at least to me looks like congealed blood. I love it.

Hmm. Oxblood was a definite anyway but Barbecue and Victoriana look promising too. Barbecue looks nothing like Strange Journey on T but then again Strange Journey doesn't look like Strange Journey on T either so I think it's safe to say Barbecue looks like Strange Journey IRL. Which I'm sure makes perfect sense to everyone lol. I love SJ so Barbecue goes back on le list. Justifying Victoriana is proving a bit harder but I'm working on it. T says Victoriana is muted while all of my pinky reds are of the in-yer-face variety. Therefore I need Victoriana. Wooohooo!
I think I also need Azalea Blossom as I don't have anything like it. I did a bit of searching for comparison swatches but none of the alleged dupes I came across were close enough IMO. Anyone know of a decent dupe for AB?

I agree. I'm also wondering if it'll be darker depending on lip colour. On Karen's lips, it still wasn't as dark as I was hoping for.Awww man. I was totally going to skip this collection. Then I come here and wham. I see Christine's swatches. I want Oxblood now. I'm trying to restrain myself from buying more lippies since so many other collections are coming out. I wish we had swatches of Kindergarten Red (unless I missed it somewhere) so I'm not just buying one item. Thank you, Shars.

That sounds like my list except I may get Sin instead of Victoriana and only because I love, love, this packaging. The verdict is still out for Opera though. Oh, and two of the pearlglides!

Do you have MAC's Relentlessly Red from the Retro Matte collection? If so, I think Victoriana will be similar if not slightly less pink.Hmm. I haven't got Relentlessly Red but judging by swatches it does look similar to Victoriana. I found the Retro Matte formula way too stiff so I picked up just Flat Out Fabulous and Fixed on Drama as I was totally smitten with the colours. I'll look for some Relentlessly Red swatches and see how it compares to stuff that I have.

Great news but I have no idea if by "stores" she means Nordstrom, Macys etc or does she mean just MAC stand alone stores. I'm always hearing about MAC stores only having 2 of each LE lipstick in stock so I've never risked waiting and instead stalk online on launch day

This is often the case with the more expensive collections at least (like Prabal), but I would think that most Mac free standing stores with have a pretty good stock with this one.
That said, I will also stalk and likely buy online--lol! I'm only getting Oxblood and it's a no-brainer really!

I think I read somewhere that it'll be on MAC's website Jan 29th and on Nordstrom's Feb 2nd.

Yeah I just spoke to a Beauty consultant at Nordstrom he said they will definitely carry Toledo "while supplies last". So as far as the April 2 cutoff date that would probably only apply to actual MAC stores. Still the April 2 window seems like it would give everyone a chance to see "the good swatches" lol I swear they are always on IG
