Making love vs. ......?

Well...
I'm like this hopeless romantic that would loveee to make love. And I remember when my man and I first got together and we were "making love" ...and i just felt so good. Like... he was asking me how I want it and doing it slow and kissing and just ...all that you would think of when you think of love making.
Now ... we don't fuck. we don't make love. our sex is kinda boring now, actually.

I think making love is when you feel open and vulnerable for women, it's that man that whatever he's doing makes you feel like he just crowned you queen, like he's worshiping your body or something, and that starts a cycle where he does what pleases you, your reaction pleases him, he seeks to please you more but it doesn't mean it must be slow deliberate type sex, it's just that for a woman when a man is taking his time with us touching us where we like, putting his needs on the back burner I think we react more strongly to him cause that's rarer, so that's what we elevate.

As much as I hate the phrase making love I believe there is a difference.
When making love there is more of a deep emotional connection. As for the latter its more for just pleasure and fun.

Like what the other ladies just said, makign love is more slow and your man kisses you more and makes you feel RELAXED as fuck. LOL! and you say sweet nothings to each other..no hair pulling lmao. Sex is just rough, I think a serious couple could have both. It just takes a serious man to make love to you cause guys like to have sex more if they dont love you.lol

I think the only difference is if the people doing it are mutually in love *shrugs*

IMO it doesn't matter if it's soft and sensual or hardcore banging, if those involved are in love, it's love making.

Same thing goes for those who are not mutually in love, it just is what it is.

Oh I think there is a huge difference between making love and having sex. Making love is using sex as a tool to express love to someone so its more subtle romantic gentle and meaningful while have sex is pretty much "scratching an itch" kinda like what you see in porn, which can be done with anybody. I think every good relationship shoulc have a combination of the two.

When I think of intercourse I think of 3 different categories for it.

Fucking- I usually associate this with one night stands, random hookups with this. You do it just cause you want to feel good and get off. Theres absolutely no emotional connection coming from both sides. Hell there doesn't even need to be a physical attraction thing going on! Your just here for a quick easy lay.

Sex- Theres a bit more attraction and or connection from both partners in this. But your main goal still is just to feel good and get off. Basically fucking but much nicer but not on the same level as making love.

Making Love- It can be anyway you like it, fast and rough or slow and gentle. But theres that intense connection and love between the two partners and you want to show the other person without having to say "I love you, blah blah blah" how strongly you feel about them.

now that I think about it...what the hell happened to Luda?! I miss the "what's your fantasy" days!

and my 2 cents: I'm with the people who say that "making love" is cheesy. I feel like it's some crap out of the movies or something. No one talked like that where I'm from, so it just sounds stupid to me. I don't think it means you have any less connection with someone...everyone's language is different. I *HAVE* laughed at someone who said that to me

I find it interesting that we seem to be divided between the opinion that "making love" is either completely different in style, or only different in that you love the person.

I don't like the phrase itself, so I don't know which side I land on really.

making love sounds old to me. maybe when i'm like 70 i'll be making love.

but right now, i fuck lol. i consider it the same. sex is the ACT in itself, so thats a no-brainer. FUCKING and MAKING LOVE is just the style. and i prefer to fuck. i always try to do the slow romantic shit, but who am i kidding...i like to have the kinda sex that matches my age. young and vivacious. rawr.

i see them both as the same thing. i love my man and we ''.....'' but it's out of love so it doesn't just feel like a ''.....'' to me, but i'd rather think of it as making love then just ''....-ing'' lol

yeah i've got to say i think i'd laugh if my hubby said lets make love. generally my wording is 'i want you to fuck me now!' no need for all this 'making love' crap. it's very cheesey to me and it just doesn't sit right...
