I might skip Annabella because poppy red is usually awful on me. I think maybe poppy red has orange undertone. Poppy red usually has orange undertone, right?

It's like a sheer version of orange red.

I read that they are all permanent. Does this also include the "exclusive" ones?

First the new Guerlain lippies and now these. My poor wallet.

All those saturated shades can just get in my handbag right now! Among the nudes, I'm curious about Anna. So excited...

1. "Fanny"—Ruthie Friedlander, Deputy Editor
"I am always drawn to darker berry shades, mostly because a makeup artist once told me colors like these will really bring out my green eyes. I love this color especially because its name—Fanny—is that of my great grandmother. There’s truly no better lipstick with a better consistency than the NARS ones, which is of the utmost importance when opting for a dark hue."
2. "Geraldine"—Justine Harman, Features Editor
"I’m always drawn to a red that’s a little more persimmon than cardinal. And this rich-and-matte formula is just the ticket. You can’t tell in this pic of my kisser that I’m a blonde…or can you? Either way, the color combo is major."
3. "Greta"—Dobrina Zhekova, Producer
"It's the perfect shade for a brunette with dark eyes who doesn't like putting on a lot of makeup—aka, me."
4. "Ingrid"—Katie Friedman, Photo Editor
"I recently went from brunette to blonde and am still experimenting with what lip colors work with my blonde hair. I don’t usually go for dark colors, but I really like how this deep plum contrasts with my lightened locks!"
5. "Angela"—Danielle Prescod, Fashion Editor
"I haven’t been very into lipsticks lately. Over the spring, I was very into purpley black, but then my colored eyebrows sort of took over my beauty routine and the lips got rejected. Leave it to this bright poppy pink from NARS to get me re-inspired. I love what a warm color it is and the fact that it will immediately lighten up any look. I’m not totally over my attraction to all things dark and mysterious, but I guess real women wear pink too."
6. "Janet"—Natalie Matthews, Web Editor
"This is the perfect wear-to-work statement lipstick. It’s a magenta that’s bright but not too neon, and I like that when I wear it with my usual work outfits—which are black, white, and gray, mostly—it gives me a punch of color that feels fresher than the usual, predictable power red lipstick women wear to work."
7. "Leslie"—Megan Cahn, Beauty Editor
"I am a big fan of a red lip, but I go for shades that veer darker than the classic, like this burnt brick red that will be perfect for fall."
8. "Olivia"—Rebecca Moss, Producer
"I usually go for a bright red lip. This shade has a similar hue, but in a deeper, richer color that brings extra intensity and sophistication."
9. "Jeanne"—Victoria Hoff, Editorial Assistant
"I'm always on the lookout for a great dark red, and usually achieve the exact shade I want by layering a bright crimson over a deep burgundy lip liner. My search has now ended, and it'll be nice to eliminate that extra step. The best part about this color is that it goes on as a dark cherry red, and with another layer, it's suddenly merlot. (I prefer white wine to red, but when it comes to my lipstick, the darker the better.)"
10. "Kelly"—Kate Winick, Social Media Editor
"This is the brightest possible iteration of this shade, but blot twice and it turns into a killer matte pink that's just a little lighter than the classic berry shade. I'm obsessed with how rich the pigment is. It's great to blend with other colors as well."
11. "Bette"—Leah Chernikoff, Editor
"I'm obsessed with berry-hued shades. Blame the '90s resurgence (or the fact that I was a teen in the '90s and loved Clinique black honey) but I've always been drawn to a berry lip. After seeing those Vuitton ads starring Michelle Williams wearing the. perfect. shade. of deep crimson, I've been trying to ape that look ever since. This one does the trick."
12. "Rita"—Sally Holmes, Senior News Editor
"I’ve been gravitating toward darker, plummier shades recently, but this color was so bright, crisp, and cheerful, I couldn’t resist it."

These lipsticks are going to KILL me. There are quite a few I am interested in. Thank goodness they are permanent so I can take my time adding them to my collection. WHEW!

More swatch. http://dayre.me/girlwhocriedwolf
She didn't mention what shades they are and only said about Carmen (the middle row, the 4th from left)
