Well, I noticed that with Night Fever and Night Porter I had no problem getting the pearl to show up. I swatched Night Breed and Night Fever with Sharkskin because I was swatching them with Black Tied and I wanted to be consistent. It helps the color show up on camera but I didn't need it. I will say that with Night Flight the pearl didn't show up as well but it is because it's a navy blue pearl against a jet black shadow. I don't remember being impressed with Night Clubbing. I just didn't like the color. Night Star is beautiful but you do need to pack it on. I don't remember trying Night Fairy.
I want to buy an eyeshadow from the Nightlife collection. But I don't know which one to buy first.Night Clubbing looks so gorgeous in the pan but when I swatched it ,its glitters seemed to disappear.
Nars is so expensive so I don't want to regret after buying it .Which one would you recommend me ?
I adore Night Clubbing, Porter and Fever (this is similar to Beauty Marked) but Night Star and Fairy were big misses - their consistency wasn't as smooth and felt drier compared to darker shades.
How I make the darker shades work is using them wet. They are pigmented but can look dull if not used wet or with primer.

My recommendation for your first Night series color would either be Night Breed, because you can't go wrong with basic black with silver glitter, or Night Porter. I absolutely adore Night Porter and it looks amazing as a liner! To make the colors pop use a base such as Zardoz creme shadow or wet your brush a bit then apply....gorgeous! You won't regret it, in fact you'll be going back for more!
I have Night Rider. I like it with nice vice paint pot underneath or applied slightly damp. There is shimmer and glitter in the shadow and it gives a nice texture. Although using this shadow dry doesn't work for me. The glitter flecks fly onto my cheek instead of sticking to my eyelid.
