The payoff is less than the singles but more than the trios. I find using a VERY sticky base with them, like UDPP or a shadestick instead of a paint of paintpot helps.

The frosted shades are easier to work with than the mattes and satin shades, however the satin shades are the hardest to work with and most like the trios verses the singles

And thanks for the link to the other site too! I will have to check that out- it looks like their prices are better and shipping costs too.

How does the color last with these? That was the biggest prob I have with the other NYX shadows. I guess for the price you can't really compain, but then if it doesn't last and it's hard to work with, I will end up not using it so it may not be worth it. But they look so pretty

I've heard they sell NYX at Perfumania outlet stores. Can anyone tell me how their prices compare to CherryCulture or NonpareilBoutique? Thanks!

I would say they have good staying power. They lasted through a full day of college classes just fine, but didn't last during a bike ride (ew sweaty face if you know what I mean). So they are NOT the quality of MAC, but 10 shadows for 8.75 is a good deal and they are great for travel. I'm taking Strike a Pose and Smokey Eyes with me to San Francisco next week

The wording on the site makes it seem like these might be repeats of colors already found in the single pot form, but when I e-mailed their CS to ask, they indicated that they were in fact new shades.

does anyone have experience with shopcraze.com? they're selling the single eyeshadows for $3.45 with free shipping on orders over $35. plus, they just added the palettes to their inventory. i've had a shopping cart full of stuff for weeks but i haven't seen too much mentioned about the site and i don't want to get ripped off.

thoughts?

I haven't ordered from there, but I have heard from people who have and they said the shipping was pretty fast. I think Julia has ordered from there.

I've bought stuff from them on several occasions and I've never had any problems. Their international shipping is quite fast, and everything arrives in perfect condition!

Those palettes look gorgeous, especially the one for browm Eyes. I wish people wouldn't sell NYX for so expensive here in Germany.

@meg_curls: wow those palettes are looking lovely, especially the Smokey Eyes one!

Would be awesome if they had NYX in the UK, would love to try out the Black eyeshadow and the jumbo eye pencils!

Ok, this is my first post here (hi!) and I just need someone to tell me I'm not crazy. I've sucessfully depotted 30+ NYX singles before, but I just ordered a bunch from CC and am having some serious trouble getting the plastic insert out of the container. The two manufactured in China (which I think they all used to be) popped out easy peasy. However, the NEW shades and another old shade were manufactured in South Korea, and I simply CANNOT get them out. They aren't even budging. Is it just me, or is there some manufacturing difference in the containers between the ones from China and those from South Korea? Has anyone sucessfully depotted any of the new shades made in S. Korea? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I also got 2 crazy rumors lip balms and Milani Runway eyeshadow in Black Out

Several of you from Canada wondered if Shoppers Drug Mart is the only place you can buy NYX here - I've seen NYX products for sale in several Pharma Plus stores across Ontario as well.

To the person who wondered about NYX for professional use - it works beautifully. NYX is the brand I carry in my kit, and I do that for a reason - the colors are gorgeous, photograph well, and really stand up. I've tried having other brands in my kit, but I always toss them aside and reach for the NYX.

I haven't noticed any difference in either of those things, in fact all the new shades I have tried have been very pigmented and gorgeous!
