ditto post haste and signed, sealed. I saw them at the CCO last month. Didn't know they were being dc'd. I'm going there again tomorrow; I'll pick up back-ups of these 2.

Darn!

Oh, I think I'll have to go to my counter next week when I get paid and see if they would still have Post Haste and some of the lacquer and maybe flammable..

Nooo I hate these lists! (Not that I don't appreciate you posting them Amy!)

So annoyed about the paints. I really do prefer them to paintpots.

I cant say I am pleased about Frost being Dcd though.... any other pigments getting the axe?

I agree Your Ladyship is nicer as an eyeshadow than Fairylite but it's not quite as versatile. I find it hard to get it to work as a highlighter because of all the gold glitter.

I am a bit surprised about the matte2s, also, as they are sooo new. The pink (Pen N' Pink) is kind of chalky (colour-wise) and blah, so not surprised they picked that one. I am just wondering why they didn't DC that muddy Flourishing matte2.

I think all of the scuttlebutt about Flammable was just that until this point. I think this is the first time MAC has actually put Flammable in print on a DC list.

Flammable and Artjam. What a shame. So unique.

Thanks for sharing!

I just discovered that I like the Matte2 e/s, so I'll have to pick up Poison Pen, Post Haste, and Signed, Sealed soon.

Really? Over Flourishing or Pen N' Pink? I love Newly Minted. It didn't work for you? I still remember seeing one of your kick ass FOTDs with green shadow and you rocked it!

Ya know, I am really surprised to see the Matte2 shadows on this list, especially Poison Pen and Signed Sealed. I am kind of disappointed that they decided to ToD Poste Haste instead of Passionate. The two are nearly identical on me, with Poste Haste having a much better texture. And WHY wouldn't they keep Signed, Sealed and get rid of Shadowy Lady?!?! Maybe the pinks and purples are getting cut to make room for the new addition of Top Hat, Lotusland and Sunset B to the permanent line? *crosses fingers*

Not at all. I think that's a FOTD that should've never seen the light of day. I was wrapped up in the excitement of posting. Every time I try Newly Minted, it looks like teal dust, but I try to love it anyway. I think if MAC killed it, I would feel like they've admitted that it was a mistake and didn't work out. That would make me feel better. I actually have no problem with Flourishing and I never bought the others that are soon to be gone.

Poison Pen is the most gorgeous purple in my opinion... really sad to see it go...

The other MAC bag being discontinued is the MAC Mini.

I have to vouch for Pen n' Pink, too, since nobody else will. :p I love it and am glad to have it. It's unique in how great of a baby pink it is, and I have never found it to be chalky to a fault, especially once I add other colors. I love it and will be sad to see it go. Fortunately my counter has about 8 of each of the Matte Squared shadows being DC'd, so I'll get to play with them for a bit longer.

Furthermore, most of your counters should now be sporting new Nail Lacquer displayers which are much smaller than the previous displayers. The redesigned ones grip the lacquer a bit better and consist of much fewer polishes, with each row having only 3 slots.

Just to clarify, for those of you pondering Pen N Pink, I said it was chalky colour-wise, not in texture. It goes on just as smooth as the others. It's just a bit too tinted (too white) for my liking.

Woo hoo for some of the dust bunny magnet bags getting the ax!

MiCHiE, I had a tough time with Newly Minted too. It got everywhere even with a base. Our trainer suggested to go easy with this one, less is more. After looking like a toxic panda I just threw it in my "nuh-uh" drawer, though.

I totally agree. I have the same issue with Pen N Pink. It's just...weird.

But damn...I'm loving all the matte2 eye shadows! I hope they all aren't dc'd eventually. Mattes are my faaav and these are just so easy to work with and pigmented IMO.
