uhm wtf???? I dont even know what im going to do when Hyper Real is phased out!! I mean seriously!!!!!!!! I dont even live anywhere NEAR a MAC store and that's been my go-to foundation for YEARS.... I dont even know what shade I would BE in any of the other foundations.....I'd stock up on backups but foundation only lasts so long.... This SUCKS!

Can anyone recommend something else besides the hyper real that works for them? Im an NC400- what shade would I be in the other foundations??

And im buying 2 fancy ray blushcremes too... this is horrrrrrrrrrrrrible!

they aren't getting rid of hyper real!!! its just gonna be a pro product now.

They were pro only and it looks like they are getting the ax: MAC PRO | Glitter Sorry.

Man...why are they getting rid of so many paints? I would love to see those at least become a pro only product. They are such a unique product.

I can not belive they're getting rid of the brow shaders!
And I just saw the "cleansing tips" (which I use to perfect my eyebrows).
And full coverage foundation???

Ugh - I fell so lost.

Must get back-ups.

UGH! I just bought Select Tint and I LURVE it! I can't believe it's being discontinued. They don't even have my shade on the site anymore! I have a CCO near me, I will check there, maybe it will pop up.

I wonder why they are d/c-ing so many foundations...

The least they could do is put the d/c'd items on sale or something. Even 10% would be sweet. I know I'm only dreaming, but still...

If im correct is the 225, 192 brush, and bronze ccb going to become pro products only out of the whole list? I think im going to use live chat with the brow shaders, hopefully they will be changing the packaging only and it will take temporary leave! *prays*

Damn it. I read an article quite a while back about MAC at fashion week (this was like February) They said they were testing a new foundation formula backstage and it would be available early 09...(don't quote me on it but I think it may have been HD....) I meant to post it back then but I forgot

(They also mentioned new lipstick formula but I guess that was the creamsheens...)

Even if MAC releases a new foundation formula, I won't be excited unless they expand the shade choices, and I don't see that happening.

I'm a devoted Full Coverage user. I suppose I could just switch to Studio Finish concealer and finish up with a different foundation... but this requires less effort and is much faster! (Plus FC is the third MAC foundation I've tried and I love it the most.)

What does it mean when an item becomes Pro only?
Is the only difference that I need to go to a pro store to buy it? Does the price change?

you can only get it by going to a pro store or calling them, or by calling the 800#. the price doesn't change.

That is a loooooooong list, I'm really sad about the matte2 eyeshadows, I haven't had a chance to buy one of them yet. I really want poste haste.

I need to get me backups of the cleansing tips...they are seriously the best! I'm sure people were turned off from buying them because they are practically the equivalent of qtips and makeup remover but IMO they are totally NOT. The cotton tips of these things are so tightly wound that it really helps with precisions and getting into tight places. Also the remover that they are saturated in works wonders. Oil based so it doesn't sting but dries without having the need to want to rinse it off. Anyway...sad about these. Must stock up because these are a staple in my kit.
