i recently forked up the 225 dollars for the mac train case, i honestly love it but wish it had more slots and stuff rather than just trays. i also wish that a row of eyeshadows would fit perfectly across the tray without a gap on the side. ehhh lol...im weird like that.

i have my handy dandy tackle box that i've almost outgrown!! it's got three trays/shelves and a tiny compartment on the lid that i use for bobby pins, etc.

I also use the Sephora Midnight Studio traincase... it's awesome. I find it especially helpful that the trays can be divided (unlike the MAC case) and the dividers are all adjustable. The lock and detachable strap are also handy. I debated on just using tackleboxes for all my stuff but I like the look & sturdiness of this traincase much better. One drawback about this case, though, is that it tips over when the trays are fully extended, even if I have heavy items in the bottom compartment - but I just rest the back of the top tray against the wall in order to keep it upright, so it's not really a major problem.

I have an old school Caboodles train that I've had for years, I also have a cute green one from Ulta, a black nylon Sephora one and the MAC Tour de Pink...

I had the purple caboodle, and after awhile the hinges just wouldn't work right, but for the 16 or so dollars i paid for it, it worked great. I just saw the smaller sephora train case and it is REALLY small. I think they have a new one out though, besides the larger one. At least they had a really nice display for them.

i'm just going to buy a tackle box. i bought a new train case from ULTA today by Caboodles and it's a piece of crap. I think I'll organize better in a tackle box, plus I really like lots of compartments. I'll just decorate it with stickers and such. I like this one and it's cheaper than my piece of crap new one. Taking it back tomorrow =/

Does the Sephora Midnight Studio traincase have the same measurements than the MAC traincase?

I got the bobbi brown chocolate faux-croc case. $45 on ebay. I and use the small plastic storage drawers from target. And I bought some really cool looking metal pencil holders from staples for my pencils and brushes.

I have the black Sephora traincase. It's the one with only one side, not two...so it kinda leans heh. I'll be moving onto a bigger one soon

I too have a Sephora Midnight Train Case, as well as a large dual sided 3-Tiered case on wheels from Yazmo and then another which I purchased at a deal off of eBay which was quite similar to the Sephora case, but with a plastic interior. The Sephora Midnight case has to have my favorite interior (it is entirely padded) so I put my delicate items in there. With the other train cases that aren't lined, I like to use the (squishy) kitchen drawer liner and cut it to fit into each section.
