Sephora Midnight Studio won't tip over if...

One drawback about this case, though, is that it tips over when the trays are fully extended, even if I have heavy items in the bottom compartment - but I just rest the back of the top tray against the wall in order to keep it upright, so it's not really a major problem.

When you open the case, you just can't fully extend the trays. Extend them almost fully but not all the way. It is still fully functional and it won't tip over. HTH

Anyone have or seen this in person? I wish Sephora would have bigger pictures! It says it can be carried like a tote bag.

I got this 6 drawer vanity dresser from my husband as my birthday gift last month. It holds A LOT & the fold down mirror is perfect! If you don't need/want a train case then this would be perfect.

I had a caboodles one..
But it got too small.

So now I use this really cute semi-sheer girly fishing lure box I got a wal mart. I love it. Or maybe its supposed to be a toolbox? I don't know, but I found it in the hardware section...

I'm a nerdy recycler, and actually use empty Ferrero Rocher cases for storage - you can stack them, flip the lids upside down so they form trays for brushes, pencils etc. These boxes are so functional it's just idiocy to throw them away.

I also use miniature plastic milk crates! They look like crates, at least.

Unused stuff goes in special ornamental boxes/cases etc. or any other nice, decorative ornamental packaging. I recently stored away my spring/summer makeup in the Joey New York lunch kit bag that had mini versions of some bath & body products. Philosophy sets/products also sometimes come in nice boxes, which I'm loathe to throw away.

I know I'm sad; I could afford other storage solutions, but it makes my heart lighter to know that I'm trying to be less wasteful.

i use ferrero rocher boxes too!

The largest caboodles silver traincase from Walmart for $25. I am filling it up quickly so I may have to get another one.

I have 2 from lancome and then the largest one sephora carries. Once I move back home (I graduate from college may 18th) I am going to the container store for stuff to keep it in permanently

since I don't carry my MU around, I just keep them in drawers of my MU table (organized into compartments made from old plastic boxes)

I have the medium sized brown leather Caboodles from Walmart. It was $20. It is fine for my collection right now, with room to grow. I put all my eyeshadows in quads though, so that frees up some space.

I would LOVE to have a vanity, but it's just not in the budget until I am done with grad school. Three more years and it will be mine!

Although the MAC ones are cute, honestly, it's a waste of money. You can buy a cheap-o CABOODLES from Wal-Mart, but they don't last long if you have TONS of make-up. It'll last you awhile if you make sure the drawers aren't filled with too much makeup.

Once you're ready to upgrade, I recommend this:

YAZMO

I got the exact same one and they ship for free! What I love about this is that it rolls and I can take out the top compartment and take along with me.

They have the exact same one at Sally's Beauty Supply but Sally charges $200 something! NO WAY! I'm a big time bargain shopper and always shop around for the best deals. So I thought I'd point this out to all the ladies looking for a good traincase!
