This is so sick and sad.
Yeah, but it's pretty well known (esp in Psych circles) that the more witnesses to a crime, the less likely someone will step in and do something. Everyone witnessing basically thinks that the next person is going to get up and help.....but then too often no one does.
So sad. Hope that the young girl and her family can get through this ordeal and that the healing process is fast for them.
