Also, I think its ridiculous how they have THAT many lipsticks (6, like what?) and all of them are already on hold. There are people going out of their way for that shit, doesn't MAC know this by the THIRD collection? Sigh. Nevertheless, I hope people end up lucky and get what they want.

With my Macy's, he pretty much told me that the people who are going/will be in line won't get the lipsticks (unless they want RiRi woo) because the stock that they did get is already on hold...I feel awful for those people.:..

That's insane! Makes me wonder if I should call in or go in again and see if I can preorder it. I'm just a little shy to get the same person again haha. But I'm aiming to get there before 7:30am and it's right beside my workplace but I only start at 10 so it'd be so much easier f they'd just put it on hold

I called my local MAC store to see what my chances would be "realistically". The SA was funny. As I was asking her she giggled and said, " it's like you KNEW that in just came in", " I'm holding the boxes right now and have to count out them out". She told me to call her back and ask for her and even gave me her shift hours so I can catch her. That was sweet if her! I can see my lippies, not much longer....

Thats actually pretty sad. People are going to be standing in the cold waiting to hear that their lipsticks have been sold to people who called days before and only 6 people! IT might happen like last time when they were on hold and the costumers were so angry they had to just start opening up peoples bags that had the items in it and just selling them.

I called the store I'm going to and she said they are not holding any items. Had to call to make sure because I will not stand outside the store for no damn reason lol

Limited edition for mac is REALLY limited. Meaning only a 100 in the country lmfao. For the ladies braving the stores on Thursday, May the odds ever be in your favour.

Based on my experience from the Fall Collection and the Nordstroms/Macy's MAC Counters, the mall/stores opened at 10, but they let people walk in at 9:55AM and get a place in line. Also, people were allowed to pre-order way before then, so when the stores actually opened, all three of each lipstick (Yes, 3) were sold out, as well as the lip liners.
People were so upset, and I don't blame them because that's absurd. MAC should know better than to give three lipsticks to each counter. Thats nothing.

MAC SA just called me to confirm that I was coming in on Thursday, what a sweetie...put my lippies on hold, yay...

Store or counter? I tried this with the fall collection with the Macys counter in my downtown area and they said they couldnt hold them.

I wish people would stop Being greedy and let those who haven't gotten anything buy at least one item. So annoying with people planning to go Thursday for backups.

totally agree with you. not gonna lie, it does kind of bother mee when people on here talk about them getting tons of backups..like at least don't brag about it when there's tons of people who can't get one

yeah..exclusive event doesnt look good on me at all...i have to play with it to make it work..its too brown.. for nudes i have to stick to fresh brew..or do a pink nude like viva glam V or Airy Fairy from Rimmel

yeah...badgal...doesnt look all that now to me...

..and ...nothin to break your neck over......my opinion badgal will look better on med tan or olive tone skin due to it being more brown.....even velvet teddy looks good on nc 40 or lighter....i think....

I was told they don't let you reserve for LE collections. Does it just depend on the store/artist you speak to on whether they can hold it or not?

So tell me why I see the lipsticks and the eye liners on a certain website, but when I click on them, it says "the item you are looking for is not here. We are working diligently to fix the issue."
