So looks like my mac store was sold out of PB within 30 min even though they had a pretty good stock available. My cousin was first in line at 8:00am. lol

Whoah WTF... I don't personally know how it goes exactly for MAC but could it be one of the of the individuals in charge of deciding how much each location gets? I knew someone like that, she worked for a company and would put in the order for various items around the office - but she'd order extra and then sell it to people on the street. An operation as large as MAC leaves a lot of holes open for people to work the system. Heck even if it's an employee working some angle and buying it they're sure makin their money back at these psycho prices.I reaaaaally wonder how she's getting all of these. . . WHOA.:blink:

thats like 50-60 lipsticks right there. this person is about to make about 1k in profit! thats some bogus mess. i really wish folks wouldnt buy it but they are selling like hotcakes. the seller is saying they are in la.

I was 2nd in line at the Macys near me. This young lady in line ahead of me was there with 4 adult relatives with cash in hand. The 4 of them each bought the trio of lipsticks. I asked the girl what she was going to do with 15 lippies, she said 6 are hers the rest shes giving as gifts. I didn't believe her at all, especially since she did the same thing at the previous launches too. I know the MAC near me got more than 30 in stock, but I don't know if that's the total or per color. I feel so bad seeing people who didn't get any but one person was able to buy 15 at one store.

OK, I have to unexpectedly add to the good man stories...my DH waited in the ill-fated waiting room last week, and I gave up at that point. I have been reading all y'all's stories and living through you. I had to work today and wasn't even thinking about this launch. I came home, dyed my friend's hair, went to CVS to assuage my sadness about missing Pleasure Bomb and just gave up. Came home to put away my makeup and WHAT was in the pile of products for me to put away?!?! BGRR and PB! DH had grabbed them this morning on his day off. I am sad that he has pull I don't at the MAC store. He called and they held for him. I am not even going to fret about that tonight. I am too busy sniffing my new lipsticks!!!:eyelove:
