How many of the people in here whose backorders are shipping/shipped actually emailed MAC to complain? I bet they're shipping all those orders first...
Well they need to hurry up and ship my order before I complain again! Its been pending since what Thursday? How many of the people in here whose backorders are shipping/shipped actually emailed MAC to complain? I bet they're shipping all those orders first...
Oh wow...I know the drier texture of the mattes in general make them more prone to breaking but not sure if that's the case with yours. Hopefully it will be alright though. I know melting them down to palette form may not be something a lot of people want to do but it's an option...especially if you have any portable lip palettes lying around (like an old holiday MAC one that you used all of the lippies out of or know they are old and need to be cleaned out). Mattes can be melted down without the formula being ruined. Just an idea out there for anyone with a broken lippie. (Especially those of us with broken RiRi lippies that are being replaced...if MAC doesn't make us send them back in to them then I'll probably melt it down...I'm really not opposed to applying with a brush...I do that with all of my kit lipsticks anyway)Oh noooo! Thecontinues.... Sorry TT!
Yeah maybe not because yours should have been hand delivered to your doorstep by a MAC employee! I wish I knew what order they were going in...because I only placed one order that first day but it was really late.Well they need to hurry up and ship my order before I complain again! It's still completely usable. Just wipe the wax off, sanitize with alcohol if that will ease your mind, and it's good to go. This obviously isn't an isolated incident, so contamination isn't an issue. No need for a replacement.Hi!! I ordered my RiRi Woo the day it came out in June and it has this same substance all over it. It seems to be even worse to this pic. I emailed customer service and they so far are saying that they are checking their inventory to see if they can send a replacement. I am sooooo upset and sad. I want to be wearing this lipstick everywhere and just have to look at that black box and worry that they are not able to replace it. Thanks for sharing, Amy xoxo
No clue what it is, but it's perfectly safe to use after wiping it off an sanitizing it with alcohol. My back order is shipped but am wondering now if I receive a lipstick with that waxy/fatty material is it still safe to use? I read some previous threads that some of you are cleaning it off with alcohol and such. Sorry if it's been answered but does anyone know what the stuff is?
:werd:Storing your lippy upside down won't do that either honey, all mine are upside down and I've never had that issue.. I have a lot of lippies too! Xx
LOL yeah right that would never happen!I wish I knew what order they were going in...because I only placed one order that first day but it was really late.
Or based on the formula (not a common formula as the others), they coat the molds with wax, and it just didn't all melt off? :dunno: i really do think the "sweat" on these lippies was that wax, just melted.I wonder if a machine malfunctioned & just added the extra blob of wax.
Thats makes sense. YepOr based on the formula (not a common formula as the others), they coat the molds with wax, and it just didn't all melt off?i really do think the "sweat" on these lippies was that wax, just melted.
I ordered a backordered one for my cousin's girlfriend and it shipped a few hours ago. I placed it at 6PM PST launch day & I never called in at all about it.How many of the people in here whose backorders are shipping/shipped actually emailed MAC to complain? Too cute!Dear MAC....you are SO wack. Send Richelle's order now or :thdevil: I will attack. We just wanted some lipsticks, not labeled a Hack. Ring ring ring :supacool: hello, this is elegant-one & I would like to know where the hell Richelle's & the other Specktra orders are? And, why were you so rude to April? :lecture: :nono: :aargh:
I totally agree! By the way my lippies are still pending.Or based on the formula (not a common formula as the others), they coat the molds with wax, and it just didn't all melt off? :dunno: i really do think the "sweat" on these lippies was that wax, just melted.
Oh I know a lot of people store them upside down and have only heard one person mention they could dislodge. I'm saying I did not do anything that could remotely make it dislodge. It didn't actually break off. It dislodged itself about 1" out of the container to where it is almost all the way out. I had to twist it all the way up to see why it wasn't going back down. I don't apply my lipstick w/ it twisted all the way up. Just enough for the slant to cover my lips is all. No idea how it became dislodged being stored in the upright position. It's like the product was loosely placed into the bullet.Storing your lippy upside down won't do that either honey, all mine are upside down and I've never had that issue.. Now that the BO are shipping I wonder if I should jump on the lemming for rrw & rrb? Is there hope I get intact products?I ordered a backordered one for my cousin's girlfriend and it shipped a few hours ago. I placed it at 6PM PST launch day & I never called in at all about it.
