I'm only guessing but I'm thinking the white wax ya'll are seeing is paraffin wax. No clue as the the why though except that if it melts then it's clear...and once it cools it's white like the pics many have posted.

I just checked the status of my BU orders for RiRi Boy and Heaux and they were originally supposed to be delivered on 7/5 but they've now been rescheduled for early delivery TOMORROW WOOT WOOT! I hope they don't melt this time! It's been cooler in my city since Monday so if this weather repeats tomorrow I should be safe...

so i got my lipsticks on the 25th both were fine i used heaux once no problems went to use it today and it was broke at the base it never left my house to get warm enough to melt/break i have no idea how this happened i feel like its been to long for me to have it to complain to mac about it BLAH! thouhgts?

This just happened to me just now, I was coming in here to complain about it. I got RRB in a swap & it was fine the first time I used it. I used it just now & it broke at the base. I got another RRB on back order & a Heaux in a pending swap but after this I'm not ordering anymore Retro Matte lipsticks.

Oh duh it sure is on the side of the box isn't it lol! i was thinking ab that all night like "where are the ingredients hmmm" lol

This is so disheartening to hear @ QueenBlenda & Michelle79. I received my Heaux and RRB about a week ago and haven't even used them yet for fear they will break, dislodge etc.. I'm going to indulge my cravings for matte lippies with Nars; I've been wearing the heck out of Carthage recently, maybe I will check out more shades.

I wonder if anyone is having this problem with melting and globs of wax on Ruby Woo seeing as it's a Retro Matte too.

The ingredients may be the same, but something could've changed with the FORMULA that's causing these horrible breakdowns.

i was thinking that too but mine didnt feel like wax, it's not hard, imagine it being like a glaze

fingers crossed, I called back MAC yesterday after my post to see if I could have sme good luck, and te lovely Nicole took down my credit card info and informed me that I need not worry about the out of stock label since they anticipated such fuck ups with their back orders.

Just curious, is anyone having issues with their hk? Like with pigmentation on the bronzer side? Decided to play with it today and I couldn't get any color off of it except for the blush side. That one is okay. Tried to scratch it and I still got nothing. Its weird.

It's been noted from day one that the pigmentation of it sucks

Finally got around to trying out heaux and while the color is a lovely enough my lipstick is dry as a bone. It felt like a stick of chalk and had to pull and tug so much to apply that it almost broke.
No bueno.

So my RRB replacement just arrived. It was already up above the silver portion of the bullet but wasn't broken. As someone mentioned before when they had to push it back down in as if it wasn't in the bullet correctly...that's exactly what I had to do. Notice the white substance at the base mostly (gel like since it's warm right now)...perhaps that is what is on the others people mentioned. It just traveled to different portions. Who knows.

For reference, this is what my original RRB looked like (broken off at base but placed back for the pic)

It just seemed like a lot of people were getting theres I just wanted to make sure.

That sucks have you called them? My replacement is coming in today & it's also RRB.....now I'm nervous.

I'm sorry you keep getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop on this one. MAC sure does keep dropping the ball on this one and shame on them for all these sub-quality lipsticks!
