So I have gave in y'all. I went ahead and ordered rrb and heaux. I have uta and rebel but heaux looks different and my uta will be gone soon. I hope I made the right decision. Lol because I hate dupes

I think you did. That all depends on how much you love lipstick, lol. I own both rebel and heaux and they're very different. Since you've almost used up uta, it sounds like a color you really like. So, I'm sure you'll get good use out of rrb

There isn't a gif in the world to show you the face I made reading that. What the hell? I wore Heaux today with Beet lip liner. Loved it. Love it more than when I tried it yesterday. I browsed the Mac store today and one of the MUA's said great lip. I wish she had asked me what it was because I'm just dying to say Heaux to someone.

Haha, you should have seen my face! On the up side, heaux is gorgeous. But I definitely don't need three, especially one without a cap!

except Riri-Woo, right? i think only Riri-woo will be at the counter, the other lippies that are in that collection will be diff colors,  pics are in the Riri Fall collection thread.

I had specifically asked about Heaux and she said all 3 would be at counters in Oct. she could be wrong! It doesn't mater to me b/c I have purchase all the lippies I am going to get from the summer collection.

So after hearing you ladies rave about the cheaper alternative to the Mac lip liners I had to buy some. I lined my lips with nyx currant and then filled it with purple rain. I love it. I also bought Y2k, deep purple and fuchsia. I can't wait to try the others.

You might try calling mac to see if they'll send a replacement. A lot of ppl have had issues, melting, wax residue, broken bullets, mine came without a cap. I think there are some manufacturing/quality control issues going on with this launch.

Thanks Medgal!! I usually wear some form of lip balm/gloss daily and exfoliate probably weekly(as in the peel on their own lol) so maybe that helps? Plus I'm a constant lip licker too lol.

WOWOWOW I just got my first Riri Boy and Heaux and I just had to come in here and gush for a minute!!!!

Heaux is very beautiful, it's definitely a good scarlet red on me - in the same vein as Absolute Power, but softer. AP is in my top 3 reds, so Heaux will come in handy.

Meanwhile, OMG Riri Boy

. For me it is such an amazing purple!!! It's SO much better than Heroine on me -

NYX Purple Rain goes well with RRB. For those looking for a clear liner, try ELF's Lip Lock.

The ladies here all recommended purple rain, y2k and currant as they were all great color combos for heaux. I found someone on eBay who was selling 5 for 13. Couldn't go wrong.

Went to pick up my RRB from the p.o. I love it! My lips have been in a bad place lately. They've been dry and kind of hurt. I don't know what's going on with them but I wanted to try it on anyway. I did a little Prep & Prime Lip and then applied the lipstick. Then I lightly lined my lips with NYX's Prune (the long one) lip pencil. Love it!

EDIT: And I forgot to say that my RRB was in perfect condition! I was almost scared to put it on thinking it might just break at the base or something but it was good.

After wearing RRB and Heaux I have to say I prefer Heaux now. RRB seemed drying to me, but Heaux didn't. It felt and looked dry even though I went through the same routine that I use for Heaux and RRW. Weird. I'll try RRB again, but as it stands I prefer Up the Amp. I also tried Heaux with the MUFE liner #19C and I prefer this to Beet. I think the MUFE liner just packed an extra punch.

I had forgotten about my NYX Prune liner. I need to put this back into rotation.

I really like Prune. It goes well with quite a few of my purple lippies. I have the long one and the short one. I noticed there seems to be a slight difference of color in them though. I kind of prefer the long one a little more.

Long one on the left, short one on the right...



The long one seems to be a bit more 'purple'. Kind of a muted plum. The short one on the right seems to have just a tad bit more touch of 'red'. I like them both though. Can anyone else see a difference?
