Copperhead- I don't have either of those liners but in your pic I can see a difference between the two . I finally ordered RRB after I got tired of hearing everybody rave on RRB.... I couldn't take it anymore so I caved... Lol

LOL Lele! You couldn't hold out no more huh? LOL! Good choice. I hope you like it. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.

What happened was I had the short one already and kind of forgot I had it. I went to this beauty supply store and bought the long one. When I bought it, I didn't even realize it was NYX. I don't even think I knew NYX had long lip pencils at the time. I just thought I was picking up some beauty supply store brand. When I got home I was like, wait, don't I have an NYX prune already? When I looked at them though I could see they were a bit different.

I also tried Heaux with the MUFE liner #19C and I prefer this to Beet. I think the MUFE liner just packed an extra punch.
Thanks Shontay! I've been resisting buying RRB because I already have Up the Amp, but I keep wondering if I should get RRB still. Thanks to your assessment, I can comfortably skip it.

It really depends. I have UTA (love it) but I also love RRB. It's not more drying on me so that's something that helps. Both are the same color but the finish sets them apart. I also don't notice RRB being more drying than Heaux or RRW on me.

After wearing RRB and Heaux I have to say I prefer Heaux now. RRB seemed drying to me, but Heaux didn't. It felt and looked dry even though I went through the same routine that I use for Heaux and RRW. Weird. I'll try RRB again, but as it stands I prefer Up the Amp.

I finally orered HEAUX last night, hee-hee. The strange thing is, I have yet to get a notice from MAC that an order was placed. I got a Paypal alert and I do see the order pending in my MAC account but still no actual email notice. Strange...

I think if someone is undecided on it, they'll be OK skipping. Up the Amp is a great color on me, but I think the Retro Matte formula with that color takes a little bit of something away from it on my complexion. When I wear it over time it's a little lackluster. Go figure.

I don't have UTA but I've always wanted it. I got RRB and while I like it a lot, I don't feel I need a BU like I did with RRW. LOL. Like I said before I was satisfied with not having RRB but it became available again and it looked so nice on so many people I said what the hell. I can't even compare it to UTA because I don't have UTA. One day I'll still probably get UTA.

They are literally the same color, different finish.

Wow. You're not kidding. I've heard many people say that they're the same shade but different finish and they weren't kidding. I guess if one wanted to they could just get UTA and some Matte Mixing Medium and end up with RRB.

Pretty much lol. By no means is it unique. Most people that love it already were fans of UTA and/or love the retro matte formula. Very few people that love retro mattes and UTA dislike RRB. It's nice and I love it but you won't feel like you missed out on the color since UTA is perm and there are a few tricks to make UTA (or any lippie) appear matte.
