Generally people who are REALLY REALLY crazy into things like Peta, Do not by cars with Leather seats, Leather shoes,Leather Belts, Leather Coats, or anything made of Animal skin.

If she were really a vegan and not supporting the license plate to be ironic, she failed. Vegans, by definition, do not use any animal products, including honey, gelatin, refined sugar (for many), wool. Leather is a huge no-no.

thanks! i didn't see that one. i just saw the article when i was checking my email and knew i had to share it. i have a faux fur collar on my jacket and now i want to puke. thank god its removeable!

I didn't read all the responses from this thread, but I don't understand how some people can still say they'll wear fur for fashion. If you're goin all out and using the animal for everything (ie like the Indians) be my guest if it's done humanely. But just for fashion, TO ME it doesn't show much appreciation for life, human or not.

Back on subject, I don't see how yanking the clothing off the racks helps any? It still happened.

that video was utterly disguisting... i couldnt even keep wathcing. i wanted to effen kill that man. I dont wear fur or buy fur.... I do have a coach bag that has the fur trim on it and i never even though of what it was. I figured coach?? I think it is rabbit. I dont kno and i dont care... im selling it. THoes images will be stuck in my mind. eeehhhhh... and yes i do agree these people that wear these gianormous fur coats are just for a status thing. thats just imo. Thanks for that video. I know what i will never buy.

What about MAC brushes? Some of them are made of real fur. Do those of you who don't wear fur still use the fur brushes? I don't.

MAC says that they take the hair from live animals, meaning they dont kill or torture animals for their brushes. still, I do not buy them. I got a 187, and in the past, before I came to specktra and got into animal rights, I bought real fur brushes, but now its a faux for me.

I like UD and Too Faced's brushes, I also got a few from TBS and Artdeco.
