I was in Macy*s last week and i saw a huge section of fur now idk whether it was real or fake, i didnt go in but just looking at it made me wanna burn the place down. I had a real Rabbit fur coat in my wardrobe, i gave it to my nan of course because i wasnt happy with it being my in wardrobe - I was given the fur by my great aunt. I have a J.Lo Faux fur coat in my wardrobe in which i checked deeply that it is faux

Edit: As someone who openly supports Hamas, a terrorist organization that, "blows people up." I really dont think you can't get upset over that stereotype.

That wasn't out of context that was EXACTLY what you sent. I'm sorry you're ignorant on the Middle East and if you decide to believe "sterotypes" then that's your choice. If you actually went to the Middle East and spoke to the people there and studying the politics and history you would know that Hamas is not a terorrist organization. You would also be able to understand what my picture means. Since you can't let me break it down for you:
The US wants to bring "democracy" to the Middle East ... Hamas was democratically voted into power by the Palestinians because they're one of the very few groups who are uncorrupted by the US. So yes, being democratic ... like the US wants us to be ... we voted for Hamas.
Not only has Hamas built schools and hospitals but they actually PAY for people to use those facilities. They also rebuild people's homes when Israel destroies them. Not to mention they just recently gave $50,000 to Bethlehem so that they could decorate the city and celebrate Christmas in Jesus' birthplace.

If you guys want to argue do it in PM or on another thread but NOT on this thread.
The topic is about use of furs etc and opinions. NOT about who gets who upset and why and then trying to drag it out-especially on a thread that has nothing to do with either of you personally!
If one of you has a problem with the other either work it among yourselves, put the other on ignore, or e-mail one of the moderators.
This is the part where we all need to act like adults.
Neither one of your responses was necessary and I would like to keep this on topic as much as possible.

It's called it was a joke, satire, haha, you know? I know comedy tends to be a touchy subject when the Middle East is involved, as things that shouldn't be taken serious get blown WAY out of proportion by peeps from that location.
And the joke itself wasn't racist. It was a more a joke on the current political situation in relation to the text I had quoted. A joke that I'm sure I'm not the only person to make. It wasn't a lame attempt at changing the topic of the thread. Nor was it directed at you Amoona.

on the topic of leather, im just curious, does that mean that people who dont wear fur/leather dont buy leather sofa's or cars with leather seats.. i mean i myself never even thought twice when i shop for fruniture or car's linking it with animal cruelty... but i have thought oh it's uncomfortable and cold... just wondering what other's thought
