omgggg, Laura Mercier Artist palette finally went back in stock!! Purchased.

Spent Thursday deciding between Laura Mercier Artist palette and YSL pure chromatics #19. Laura Mercier went out of stock online and I freaked out and checked 3 local sephoras of which all were out of stock. So, I thought I'd go with YSL #19 instead but that went out of stock as well ><

so gladd I got the laura mercier for this season didn't think they'd sell out so quickly lol, I remember always seeing last year's Laura Mercier in stock every time I went into Sephora.

I think I need to stop buying from Sephora until December when they have the $20 off $50 deal, but I have a feeling I'd probably buy more makeup/skincare from them on Black Friday lol. can't help it ><

So glad you were able to get that palette! I picked it up on Thursday, can't wait to get it. I've only had three things I want go oos before I could get to them. Only one of them came back in, so I got that bad boy. It was the MJ blush brush. It's so expensive but I thought this would be the best time to get it. I still want the Illamasqua blush in morale shimmer and Dior Addict Extreme lipstick in Lucky.

Anyone else not able to get what you wanted because of it being oos?

Before this sale ends I'd like to buy something else, but I'm not entirely sure what. Thinking about some cheapy things and perhaps a splurge. I'm going to need a new bottle of flowerbomb very soon. Thinking of getting that huge bottle for 165. The one that's 120 last for months and months, so I gotta be good for at least a year with the biggest one. A few bucks off won't hurt. Thinking it over.

I just ordered the lavish palette from nordies too, kinda bummed that I had to pay full price since sephora was out of it but I really wanted it and I figured $38 for a good palette is not that bad LOL (justifying to myself) !

Your local Sephora may have it. I just picked one up this evening and there were plenty left. Good luck.

Yes! I got the deluxe sample about a month ago and didn't get around to trying it until about a week ago...it blew me away! It made my skin feel so nice and my makeup looked great after I used it. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect primer and this might be it.

Has anyone that uses Make Up For Ever HD foundation tried MUFE Face and Body or Duo mat? Now toying with trying another type of their foundations while they are on sale. Would love to know feedback and how they compare for coverage, longwear, etc.m

^ the colour of the face and body foundations are quite different to the HD ones - particularly at the pale end of the scale there's no equivalent to shade 110 But the texture is nice

I bought the ladybird pallette and spellbinding omg what is wrong with me. they're so pretty in person you can't walk past them. plus i wanted the UD 500 point perk.

The N28 serum is more hydrating than the Veil primer, but they are both silicone based primers, while the Illamasqua is non-silicone primer. I just thought it's hydrating properties could be nice alternative to the Illamasqua primer, but now I checked the price, and if you like Illamasqua primer (40$) go with it, once it comes back in stock, because the Hourglas primer is 65$ *bleh* (and its OOS as well <.< )

Does anyone know if that Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette would work on a super pale, cool toned gal like myself? It looks lovely but not sure if it's suited to me. The Sephora here said I didn't need a coupon, just my card, but I saw nada! That particular store was very picked over. Going to my "home" store tomorrow, and they are holding the Laura Mercier palette for me. :encore:

MY personal take on these: pretty, but not practical (if I bought one it would get *very* little use) and a nightmare to clean up (they leave glitter everywhere). And pricey as hell, yes.
