I would love to try a brazilian wax. I tried to shave a little strip and it was uneven, my boyfriend thought it was hysterical.

He loves it when I mix it up.. Sometimes theres nothing, sometimes I leave it all there or in between. He removes his hair as well.

I wax every 4-6 weeks, and I do it myself because A) I'm cheap and B) I don't want strangers poking around my girly parts!

I think most guys appreciate a trimmed hedge, some guys prefer less, but as long as it's not a jungle down there, a bit of landscaping does the job.

I'm sure he doesn't like getting hair stuck in his teeth as much as you do!

i used to get brazillians and i absolutely love them (not the pain, but the result haha) but i just can't afford them anymore. so i shave but i get pretty bad razor burn no matter what i do, and my boyfriend doesn't care, so i'm not super concerned about it.

I use Nair Cire Divine No-Strip Wax. It's pretty messy and hard to work with, but I've learned to manage. I just like how it grabs onto the short hairs and I don't have to use strips.

I've tried cold wax before, which is less messy since it's water soluble, but it doesn't always grab onto the hairs as well.

i don't wax, but there is a spray or cream that you can put on the area before you wax to numb(?) it so you will feel less pain. everytime i use my epilator in my southern area (cuz i HATE waiting for it to grow out for a brazilian), i remind myself to get the spray!!! but when i go and look at it, i'm just like, "nahhh. i survived didn't i?" - eventho it hurt like a mofo!

buy an epilator and epilate it! i'm constantly clean down there like i just got a brazilian, but i didn't even go get it waxed.

I need to start waxing down there. I wax my legs and arms anyway and I've been doing it for so long (since I was 15) that I literally don't feel any pain, hehe!

My mom is an esthetician (sp?) and she keeps telling me I should let her do it. But if I were to get it done I think I'd prefer someone I didn't know personally do it for me, lol!

Shadowy Lady: I have the Braun Xpressive (pink one). I love it. It hurts quite a bit i have to admit. I kind of have to do short strokes while doing it cuz the pain would be too unbearable if i didn't. I think i would say waxing is a fast painful death, whereas epilating your southern area is a MEGA SLOOWWW one. However, as much as it hurts, i think it's worth it just because i don't have to wait for it to grow out before the next wax session.

I shave all hair down there. It feels better w/o it, in my opinion. My bf says he doesn't want a forest down there and neither do I, so I don't mind doing it. If you're planning on shaving, keep at it and don't let the hair grow back too long or it'll itch like crazy.
