Really? My mom wasn't in the system and they just put her in and gave it to her. That's weird... You know, MAC really does need to have their stores do things the same way through out all of their franchise

I have not heard back from my friend to see if it worked or not. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will do the same thing that they did with your mom. She is going to the MAC store in San Diego.

Plaza Bonita is accepting the e-mailed copies. I just left from there an hour ago. Give them the e-mail and they will give you the lippie. It might be a drive for you all in north county-like myself. But well worth it (plus excellent customer service!).

I went and got mine today! Went to the MAC store at Sunvalley Mall in Concord and they accepted the print-out

I'm soo happy right now - anything free from MAC just makes me excited! hehe

I don't think the systems are linked that well. Like I have an account online that I get emails through but then they registered me again in the store. I'm sending my boyfriend to the mall tomorrow to get me a backup and I'll let you all know how it goes. He's registered online (I made him haha) but not in the store systems.

OMG!!! I FINALLY GOT IT!! I called the SD store, explained what happened and they said they are accepting them if you're "aggressive" about it. And so I told him that my BF went all the way down there and MAC wouldn't give it to him, blah blah blah and he said that they will now, so he went there, got it, and he just called me, and anyway, he's on his way home! (WHEW-my faith in humanity is restored!) Haha, I know I'm blabbering, I'm just so excited this saga is over. Ahhh!

did they ask for a name or some thing i send my hubby tomorrow to fashion valley mac store to get it for me , please let me know what did they ask him or they just gave it to him with a copy of the email.

Well I called again and asked them if they are indeed accepting the email printout and they said they were and I said "Well you didnt before". I would call before you go so you can say that you called and made sure...This time they just gave it to him, didnt ask for a name or anything...but he knew i was coming. I would call and ask for the MA's name just so you can say, "I spoke to so and so." I also cut out the image so the web address didn't show. In case that makes a difference...

Just got back. In and out of the store in a minute. I just gave the MA the email, she grabbed the lipstick, and rang it like a normal transaction. She just took the printed email (mine had everything, the url/link). She didn't ask for name, no email, no nothing!

I feel very sorry for people who resorted to paying moola for this thing.

You're telling me! lol I still have hope! I plan on driving either to FV or Plaza Bonita to get it but I will be coming from O'side. I don't want to make two trips. I am leaning towards Bonita since people haven't had any rejection there. I pray that I will get mine tomorrow!!

I wish my transaction would have been that easy. I think the manager at SD is just a stickler for rules or something..she made it a point to tell the MA's to only accept the postcards. I'm so thankful my BF went after work again for me!

HAH! I got the impression that maybe they started getting all these printouts and the manager wanted to make sure it was ok first..I dont know..I told my BF that he said that and he was like "Believe me, I was aggressive about it!!" I'm glad i called again-i called before he went the first time too-the second time he went he said it was no big deal and the MA got it from a big box full of them. God, it made me feel even worse when everyone was like, "Oh, it was no trouble at all for me!". I wanted to cry! Haha.

Thank you so much! I am going to call FV tomorrow so they can expect me there with the email and not reject me for any reason. I rather drive to FV than Plaza Bonita b/c its closer. I plan on doing my paper and math hw tonight just so that I have more time to drive over there and back inbetween classes!

did dj answer the phone ? b/c if he did i was standing right in front of him when he said that. Dj ALWAYS takes good care of me, IMHO he's the best damn MUA at fashion valley. I called FV store earlier today and they told me no too but i went in w/ my bf anyway and dj just took my 2 print outs and got me my lipsticks. DJ told me even if they say no to just be "aggressive" meaning just put up a fight. Tell them well corporate emailed me this and they'll have to honor it. And if they still give u s*** about it get Dj. Congrats on getting your hands on the l/s!!
