No, I definitely got a friends and family email from maccosmetics.com. I always thought this thing was a fake because I never heard of anyone actually getting one. But yeah, why did MAC allow it? Maybe it would have been too hard to refuse all those people throughout the state of California, and have a ton of angry mac addicts...

Yay! I like it too; and I was debating getting Ahoy There to go w/ my Love Knot lipglass so I'm glad theyre similar.

I did, but on the down low. And you know I'm having backup issues!

My friend, on the other hand, did not have my luck!!!

So I've been trying to move mountains today, to no avail!

I've even tried to call Corporate to try to get them to email a legit flyer, but they were, conveniently, closed for Canadian Holiday!

Ahoy There! is really pretty too. And, it looks great with about any lipgloss over it. Its my favorite 'everyday' pink lippie. Bought a backup of it too.

I know it came from MAC, but I remember having this conversation before... Like, the flyer itself was made from Cheetahmail.com or something.

Someone help me out LOL. Am I just crazy?

Maybe Cheetahmail.com posted the friends and family email too. I think thats what happened! Yes, because I sent it to someone from there because forwarding mine wouldnt work.

I knew – I just knew I should’ve started the "In the streets" Grass Roots campaign weeks ago as soon as I got foul wind of the CD lippies from Janice!!!

Being from S.F. and all we take these important issues seriously! Consumer injustice ya know!

I think I better to stick to less important issues like Homelessness, the Ozone Layer, saving the Strawberry Poison Frog from the Costo Rican Forest (Oophaga Pumilio), or maybe I’ll just buy a VivaGlam IV Lippie!!!

How’s that for resignation?

Do not feel sorry for me as I did get one. One...which I'll feel compelled never to use...ever!

I do appreciate it though! It was my BFF, who didn't get one, and many of my other friends.

I was simply complaining of my inability to score, myself, a back up, legitimately, as was advertised!

I feel a bit guilty how I got it, when some MA's claim they didn't even get one,... allegedly!

Ah, yes, I know what you mean - I didn't think I had the strength to send the BF out to try yet *again* to get my lipstick after he was denied my lipstick the first time - but I persevered! And then i got another. Heh! It sucks that the stores couldn't have all had the same policy, its just not fair.

So VivaGlam IV is pretty similar then?

blackrose - I see you're in SD like I am, Fashion Valley is accepting the flyers as well as Plaza Bonita. Maybe since it's the last day they'll give it to you?

Aw, thanks, but no! I got one, I was just being silly! My BF was denied the first day after that email appeared when he went for me at FV, but I sent him back the same day to try again, *after* I called them and complained. I was rest assured that I would indeed get one, so I sent him back out! And then on Saturday I went in myself for another.
