You did?! Did they scan them and ask for your name both times? They didnt ask my BF so thats how I got away with getting another. I'd try going a 3rd time but hell, how many duplicate lipsticks do I need?

I actually got 3, kind of. The first one I got I used a friend's email address, but I'm sending it to someone, the second one my fiance got for me (didn't ask for email or anything), and the third one I got with my email address

Ugh...I LOVE pink lipsticks so much...I would buy them if they were only one shade off from each other

btw - I tried to take good pics earlier when requested, but they did not turn out very good. I'll try again.

there is 100s on ebay , they are going for $15 to $20 shipped , you should check them out

i got mine already but if i did not i would get one from ebay because $20 is the cost for gas to go to the closest mac store near me , so it is the same .

YAY!!!! I finally got my own!!!!

I gave them the email and they just asked for my name and verified the city I live in and that was that!...woot!

Just a tidbit I found out about: the email wasn't actually approved by MAC per se...The cheetahmail.com domain is actually a spam email and they were, by some miracle, able to get a copy of the CD email and send it out en masse...good for us, yes?

But it seemed to work for MAC too because the people that came in not only asked for the lippie but ended up buying other stuff as well! The MA said that there were some that were just 'get the lippie and leave' and the others were buy, buy, BUY!

good point mac*lover; thats just a bit more than a normal MAC lipstick. I hope when MAC does more state exclusive lipsticks we can all get them cheap!

Well hopefully MAC will make it easier for us to get a free lipstick next time. I was *seriously* annoyed the first time i tried to get mine. I mean, there were several mistakes back in Feb 2007 w/ my Barbie Loves MAC orders, both online and in the store. Grr! Of course thats over w/ so I wont get into it, but they should have realized that having people being turned away just created anger and disappointment, which is bad for the company.
