I'm sure the planning must have started well before that, for this promotion. I do hope they do one for every state, it would be such a very cool way to reward their customers.

Yeah I thought about that too. I figure it has to be in the works to get all the free lipsticks/promo materials produced.

So the question is, if Mac were to do this with another state (success of this campaign being taken into account)- which state would mac hit up next?

Gotta hand it to mac, promise of a free product is great way to get customers into the stores and buying products. Good business strategy in a floundering economy.

It would be nice for MAC to do a promotion by state. Although I shudder to think what color they would pick for Pennsylvania.

Does this mean that we need to cut back on our MAC purchases if they DO do one for every state!!?? It's pretty stupid that they are making this lipstick available only to people who haven't bought MAC in a while. I think we deserve some MAJOR love [I'm talking let's step it up to a lipstick and eyeshadow for each state, only available to MAC-aholics] for all the MAJOR bucks we donate to MAC.

Not lemming this anymore thankfully. I thought it might be brighter. I have highly pigmented lips and this would never show up on me.

My mother just keeps my mail from me

My parents think I am a shopaholic and I need help. lol But I am worried. B/c I didn't check the mailbox most of this week and my dad did. He usually leaves all my IMPORTANT mail on my desk but throws away what he thinks is junk like the Victoria's Secret catalogs and all other stuff. I really hope he didn't throw away the MAC postcard.
